Christmas ATC

 

Hello, 

The Holidays are on our doorstep and everyone is busy getting ready. There is a hustle-bustle in the kitchen, the noise of children fills the air, however I'm in my room working in peace and quiet while listening to some nice music - this way I can chill and enjoy what I'm doing.

These wonderful petite ATC cards may be gift tags as well. These are tiny marvels which required so much attention to detail and properly done layering. 

You might want to make one for your own pleasure while getting into the cheerful Christmas mood.

Hello Dear friends...

Today's page from  me was done using the beautiful papers from the In Bloom collection. I used the Green Diamond sheet as my background and for layering as well. I punched a border on the Rose Wallpaper. My color on this work comes from two Color Glows, Amber and Ruby. Firstly I used it with water to color the Doily's and the piece of Gauze. I also mixed it with Modelling paste and used it through a stencil on the background.

I used several flowers from the In Bloom Ephemera pack as well as some of the sentiments. Because the white is to much of a contrast with the papers, I lightly inked then with some antique Linen Distress Ink. Now they blend in much better with the overall design!

I colored the Glass Beads with a few drops of  Lemonade and Valencia Alcohol Inks. The Glass Beads and the Mica Flakes were then adhered using Gel Medium.

Magic is everywhere

Csana is an amazing little boy with his angelic smile.

He was born in winter, on the 1st of January. Therefore, I imagined a really snowy, ice layout with two main colors, with white and blue.

I based it with white gesso, then I coloured the blue bakcground with waterpaint, mists and rainbow powders. 

While stenciling, I mixed some embossing powder into the modeling paste. This can bring some exciting effects.

The holly leaf shapes were created by a stamp and the other parts were selected from the cutting dies. The glitter was highlighted by talc and splash ink.

This layout became very very very much liked by me.

Like the Stars

For the first sight they look like the stars at the sky: similar and shiny.

But if we get a nearer view of them, it turns out promitly that all of them have an own shine.

They have this glow in common like the body wich was worn by Botond in 2011, 

by Márton in 2013, by Csanád in 2016 and by Boglárka in 2018.

This wunderful new collection, Under the Stars help to highlight the Shine of this unforgetable Memories.

The basic is white cardboard. At the first step I used clear gesso with mica flakes, stencils and stamps. Under the photos I painted the background with watercolor. I built the layers with ephermeras, chipboards and cutted flowers. Finally some stickers, little mica flakes and splash ink.

I am back with you today sharing this layout I created using some of my favourite 13@rts products.

As you may have noticed our team was inspired by Easter this month and on this Good Friday I thought it fit to share a layout that reflects on the true meaning of Easter.

I covered my background paper in gel medium to allow me work with different wet mediums. The gel medium allows you play with the spray-inks and colour without fearing for disaster. You see, if you add too much or if the drips don't go where you need them, you can simply wipe it up with a wet wipe.

To add contrasts I mixed some Colour Glow Ruby with my mists to make it stand out more. For texture and contrast I added beautiful sticker doilies and Ecru Roots and medical gauze, spayed with Pastel Coral Mist.

Next I sprayed flowers from 49 And Market to suit the colour of my layout.

 I decided to add a couple of metal embellishments, a fussy cut flower, and a couple of word stickers using double sided foam. Last but not least I added some mica flakes and Iridescent White Splash glitter.

Today, a tutorial about watercolor set and texture round brush because I hadn't enough played with them. They are easy to use and I would like to show you how cool it is.

I also cut a lot of shapes from 13arts paper witch is fun to have ornements coordinated with the collection, easy and cheap to get a beautiful result!

Hello, Monika here for the first time on the 13 arts blog! I am very happy that I can be here with you. At the beginning I made for you the altered art project - an old VHS tape. Do you still remember them? I remember with nostalgia how I was watching the same cartoons over and over, to boredom.

Witajcie, tu Monika po raz pierwszy na blogu 13 arts! Jestem bardzo szczęśliwa, że mogę tu z Wami być. Na początek przygotowałam dla Was projekt altered art - starą kasetę VHS. Pamiętacie je jeszcze? Ja z nostalgią wspominam oglądane raz po raz te same bajki, do znudzenia. 

I like to create retro projects, but on the other hand I love colors, glitter and sequins. In this project I combined both of my love and this is how I created very interesting combination. Retro and color bomb in one piece! I used all Color Glow colors available at this moment. I love them from the first use. The paints are highly pigmented, you can see the great intensity of colors. This is not the end of their advantages, do you see how beautifully they shine? This effect is difficult to capture in the pictures, but I tried as much as I could. In addition, they can be mixed together to give other shades. 

Lubię wykonywać prace w klimacie retro, z drugiej zaś strony uwielbiam kolory, brokat i cekiny. W tym projekcie połączyłam obie moje miłości i tak powstała dość ciekawa kombinacja. Retro i bomba kolorystyczna w jednym! Użyłam wszystkich dostępnych obecnie kolorów Color Glow. Uwielbiam je od pierwszego użycia. Farby są silnie napigmentowane, stąd wspaniała intensywność kolorów.  To nie koniec ich zalet, widzicie jak pięknie opalizują? Efekt ten jest trudny do uchwycenia na zdjęciach, ale starałam się jak mogłam. Dodatkowo można je mieszać ze sobą uzyskując inne odcienie. 

On the wires I placed metal hangers, flowers and a resin balloon, so that they "pop out" from the window like live images. And again, it was difficult to photograph this fragment of the project.

Na drucikach umieściłam metalowe zawieszki, kwiaty i balon z żywicy, tak by "wyskakiwały" z okienka niczym żywe obrazy. I znów ciężko było sfotografować ten fragment pracy.
