Today I (Maria Potapovich) am going to tell you what I love in the new papers collections - titles!

Probably you've noticed that sometimes  I use the collections' titles in my work.
I really like it!
I think it is beautiful and very impressive.
It turns out that there are no scraps of paper, because even the strip of paper that everyone cuts helps me to do my projects more beautiful!

"Perfect" LO

For example, in this LO I used the title in not very prominent place - just beside the photos.

I've used chipbord here, but it was not decorated in any way (I've made only one letter yellow-gold). Its color combines well with the color of craft paper and ink sprays, which are also used.

"Today, tomorrow, always" notebook-holder.

Title in this project is the main and the only decoration.

I just added and fastened it with the brads.
But one title was enough to give the value to whole project!

Hello wonderful 13@rts friends and followers!!

I made a layout for today's post with one of my favorite photos of my daughter Ioli taken by Jiri Kottas. I wanted to emphasize and make the photo the main focus of my layout so I decided to print it as big as possible. I used a sketch to help me out by Angela Star. Here is the outcome!!!

I took out my sewing machine and used it to sew my photo on the paper on both sides to give texture and interest to my page!

The colours of the paper collection "Frosted life" were a perfect match with the colours of the photo!!!

Witajcie!

Nazywam się Ania Wiśniewska - Wiosanka. Mieszkam z rodziną w małej miejscowości położonej blisko morza.

Moją scrapową pasją jest tworzenie layoutów ze zdjęciami moich dwóch synków, ale bardzo lubię robić też albumy ze zdjęciami i ramki. Jakiś czas temu odkryłam możliwości, jakie drzemią w blejtramach i teraz bardzo chętnie oprawiam zdjęcia w ten sposób.

Bardzo lubię zabawę kolorami - moje prace są barwne, troszkę bałaganiarskie, zawsze pochlapane przeróżnymi mediami.

Jestem bardzo szczęśliwa, że mogę gościć i inspirować na blogu 13 arts przez najbliższe trzy miesiące :-)

My name is Ania Wiśniewska - Wiosanka. I live with my family in a small village near the sea.

My scrapbooking passion is creating layouts with pictures of my two sons, but I also like making albums and frames for pictures. Some time ago I dicovered the opportunities hidden in canvas and now I make canvas with pictures with great pleasure.

I like to play with colours very much - my projects are full of colours, a little messy, always splashed with different media.

I am very happy that I have the opportunity to be a Guest Designer on 13 arts blog and inspire You for three months :-)

A teraz pora przyjrzeć się bliżej jej pięknemu blejtramowi

And now let's see her beautiful canvas.

Na dziś przygotowałam mały blejtram ze zdjęciem wykonanym wiosną na sopockim molo.

For today i prepared a small canvas with a photo taken in a springtime on Sopot Molo 

 Tło stworzyłam za pomocą gesso, akrylowej pasty strukturalnej, żelowego medium akrylowego i koronki. Na to nałożyłam trochę brokatowego złota i pochlapałam moja ulubioną farbką - Matte Cobalt, mgiełką Pastel Blue i żółtym tuszem wodnym.

I created the background with acrylic primer, acrylic modeling paste, acrylic gel medium and a lace. Then I put a little Gold Glitter and I splashed my favourite 13 arts paint - Matte Cobalt, pastel Blue Mist and Yellow Ayeeda Ink. 

 Poszczególne warstwy tworzą na blejtramie papiery z kolekcji Timeless, elementy papierowe wycięte z arkusza "All the time" i tekturka - klisza, która pokolorowałam mgiełką w odcieniu Pastel Blue. 

The next layers on my canvas are Timeless collection papers, paper elements from "All the time" sheet and the chipboard coloured with Pastel Blue Mist.

W mojej pracy użyłam jeszcze naklejek z kolekcji Timeless oraz pięknego materiałowego kwiatka z szyfonu i tiulu. 

I also used stickers from Timeless collection, chipboards - cogs and a beautiful fabric flower.

Kochani dziś chciałam Wam pokazać mój sposób na uzyskanie perłowej a nawet metalicznej,  połyskującej powierzchni.

Dokładnie takiej jak na tej ślubnej karteczce.

Today I'd like to show you my way to make a metalic, shining surface like the one on my wedding card:

Do uzyskania powyższego efektu użyłam farbki Ayeeda Paint Silver pearl

Przed tym jednak, postanowiłam dać tłu delikatną fakturę róż używając maski i gessa.

To make this effect I use Ayeeda Paint Silver pearl Before that, I decided to give it some texture with roses which I made with a stencil and some gesso. 

następnie przystąpiłam do nakładania bardzo cieniutkiej warstwy srebrnej farbki.

Wcieram ją w powierzchnię palcem. 

Nie trzeba nakładać tego preparatu dużo. Wystarczy delikatnie musnąć powierzchnię. Farbka jest bardzo wydajna i bogata w masę perłową. 

Next I covered it with thin layer of silver paint. I put it to the surface with my finger. You don't need to add a lot of it. The paint is very rich with strong pearl effect.

To samo robimy z kwiatkami. Również delikatnie muskamy je preparatem

We do the same with flowers. Just add some paint.

Dzisiaj chciałam Wam pokazać scrap, w którym połączyłam papiery z trzech różnych kolekcji. Baza to "Big Love" z kolekcji "All is Love". Do tych szarych cegieł kolorystycznie dopasowały się papiery z kolekcji "Timeless" - "All the Time" i "Today, Tomorrow, Always" oraz z kolekcji "Faces of Spring" - "Spring Morning".

Hello everyone!

Today I've prepared a layout for you, where I've mixed three different collections of 13@rts papers. The base is a "Big Love" paper from "All is Love" collection. It matches perfectly with "All the Time", "Today, Tomorrow, Always" and "Spring Morning" papers.

Kwiatki ufarbowałam tuszem Navy Blue i pochlapałam rozwodnioną czarną farbką Ayeeda Paint Matte Black.

The flowers were dyed with Ayeeda Ink - Navy Blue and than I sprinkled them with a little diluted Ayeeda Paint Matte Black.

Trochę warstw...

Gdzieniegdzie chlapnęłąm czarną perłową mgiełką.

I've sprinkled somewhere with black Ayeeda Pearl Mist.

I jeszcze kilka detali....

Best Time Ever layout by Nadia !

Hi there everyone! It's Nadia here with you again today.  

Today I want to share with you my latest layout for 13arts. 

I have used the gorgeous Timeless collection  once again..

I also used some 13arts mixed media products here which I will detail below.

This is what this stunning collection looks like..

"Best Time Ever"

And here are some close ups..

 Once the base paper was prepared with clear gesso etc I used Wendy Vecchi Embossing Paste and the clock stencil from the Timeless collection to create the pattern of the clocks on the background. 

 I then used my Embossing Paste and a wide palette knife to add some more random texture to the background. 

After this I sprayed 13arts Yellow Amber mist and applied some 13arts Yellow Ink  to my background. 

When everything had dried, I applied some Tim Holtz Tissue tape, and tore strips of some scraps I had left over from the Timeless collection and together with some arrow bling strips and 13arts bling trim I built up my layers behind the photo. 

 I then applied Yellow Amber with a brush and I also used some chipboard from the Timeless collection which I left raw.
