Shabby cards by Andra Martolo/ Paperimirri

Hello Everyone!

This will be my very first post as a DT member and i am so so excited to share my project with you.

I was so inspired by the beautiful papers from the "Travel the world" collection, since i have a weak spot for the blue color- in every possible shade really! These papers reminded me of a trip to Thailand couple of years ago, so it was an easy selection for my first project.

I ended up making 2 shabby cards. I really hope that you will get a bit of inspiration from here :)

Ive used 2 papers from the collection of "Travel the world", which are "This Moment" and "Discovery". Both papers are divine and i still have some scraps of those papers left from this project, that im definitely going to use up on tags or ATC's. I dont like to throw away scrap paper, so i always end up using them on smaller projects or just making flowers out of them.

Ive also used a modelling paste with the stencil called "Tattered diamonds" to add some extra interest to the base. No shabby project goes without white splashes, right? Good amount of white splash is added with using the "Ayeeda white ink".

TUTORIAL ''Christmas'' layout by Sandra

Hi Gang...

I loved creating some Christmas layout!!! I made one for you today with a tutorial. Hope you like it and you'll try to do something about Christmas too.

I mixed grungy walls collection with traditionnal Christmas A4 collection to made that layout. I cut some pieces from the second collection. easy and fast way to get a beautiful result.

Love the Nature

I do not really need to teach it to my sons, they naturally adore nature. They specifically like bugs, snails and lizards. We even have geckos and bug larvas at home.

This work was inspired by the love of nature and by Botond'a sensible soul.
Both have to be taken care even more over the summer break!

The starting point was a piece of an old drawing-board and some split from the forest which were ground coated, stenciled and painted.

I created tons of layers.
I used die cuts, sizals, microspheres, flowers, inks and waterpaints.

'Sweet' LO by Christina

Hello!!!!This is Christina today with you and it's time for my new colourful LO with the beautiful "Strength in Numbers" collection!

First of all I have to say that this time of the year I really need to use more colour on my projects , so I decided to use this colourful collection as my base for my ''Sweet'' LO.

The first step was to prepare my paper... So I stuck some paper together and used some white gesso to thicken my paper.

Then, I used some lavender and green pastel mist to have an awesome backround. Of course , it was time for some more texture , so I used some modeling paste through a stencil here and there....
I really like the combo of these two colours...

I painted some of my chipboards in metallic violet and then I used some liqued medium with some pink velvet shiny powder for extra shiny look. I did the same on some other chippies but using some black gesso and pink silver shiny powder. At the end I added some more glitter on my chipboards with glitter paint.

The final step was just the decoration. I have used a lot of flowers , some ribbon and some lace..

As you can see , I have also added some black gesso here and there with a text mask to have more interest on my page....

Mixed media bird's wooden shed

Hello!!!! This is Christina todaywith a mixed media project again !!!! You know I'm obssessed to mixed media projects and this time I wanted to make a wooden shed from 13Arts store. I'm so satisfied with my project today and it has already taken a place in my sitting room...

Well, this time I preferd to have soft tones and tones of blue and green...And some glitter , which I really love...

You can see so many details here... Full of 3D elements....And...|OK I admit that i used a loooot of glitter...I love it so much!!!

First of all, I used whitte gesso to prepare the surface and added some texture with a stencil and some modeling paste... Then I started to use some more and more texture pasted and elements....

You can see plastic microspheres , glass microbeads , 3D balls , buttons , glitter, glass filler and crystals....Then I started to paint it here and there with mists and Rainbow colours.....

                       At the end I decorated my project with lace flowers and some sisal....

Texture and rusty effect - video tutorial by Ayeeda

Pink page by Dawid

Cześć wszystkim,

na dzisiejszy projekt postanowiłem zaszaleć z kolorem różowym. Wybrałem papiery z trzech kolekcji: "Aura rosa", "Cosy evening" i "All is love". Na ich bazie stworzyłem layout mocno różowy.

Hello everyone,

for todays inspiration I decided to go crazy with pink color. I chose papers from three collections: "Aura rosa", "Cosy evening" and "All is love". On them I created very pink page.

Do stworzenia tła użyłem maski "Honey & Glitter" i pasty strukturalnej. Kolor dodałem z rainbowsa w kolorze "Bordeaux", mgiełki "Dirty pink" oraz różowego splasha. Dodałem też nieco stemplowania.

I've made backround with stencil "Honey & Glitter" and modeling paste. I added color from "Bordeaux" rainbow, chalk mist "Dirty pink" and pink acrylic ink SPLASH!. I added a pattern from stamps too.

Na stworzenie kompozycji pod zdjęciem użyłem kawałków papieru, sizalu, elementów metalowych oraz mikrokulek w różnych rozmiarach. Na koniec dokleiłem napis z tekturki "Aria story" pomalowany białym splashem.

I used piece of papers, sissal, metal embellishment and microspheres in different sizes to create composition with photo. At the end I added a word from "Aria story" chipboard, which I colored with white acrylic ink SPLASH!.
