Hello everyone!
Christmas is coming. Still, we have sometime left to prepare handmade presents for our relatives. I made a layout on a wreath-like mdf base for my friend - Patrycja. I think, that layout is a great idea to catch happy moments in our lives and share our feelings. I fit the colors of a project to the warm coloros which appear on the photo: red, green and brown. I also added a lot of white to imitate the snow.

Idą Święta! Na szczęście zostało jeszcze trochę czasu na to, aby przygotować prezenty dla naszych najbliższych. Jako inspirację grudniową przygotowałam prezent dla mojej koleżanki - Patrycji. Jest to layout na bazie mdf w kształcie wianka. Myślę, że layout jest ciekawą i świetną formą, aby złapać najszczęśliwsze momenty w naszym życiu i podzielić się swoimi uczuciami z innymi. Kolory projektu dopasowałam do zdjęcia. Wybrałam zatem czerwień, zielony i ciepły brąz. Dodatkowo dodałam dużo bieli - imitację śniegu.

Winter Time layout with Sandi Clarkson

Hello, lovely people! 

This is the time of year when we are experiencing a transition from one season to the next. I decided to sprinkle in a little Winter vibe. 

Sandi here sharing my November solo blog post with a mix of the Bella collection mixed with the Dreamland collection and the awesome moose photo from the November mood board. 

As always, I prepped my paper with 13 Arts Clear Gesso and did some Stencil work with both the Adorable Circles Stencil and the  Abstract Flowers Stencil.  really like that the 13 Arts modeling paste is pure white. That way I can either color it or not and still have the lovely white dominating the project. 

For my papers I've used the Bella Ciao Paper 12x12  and the Dreamland By the Fireplace Paper 12x12 .  These two collections really play nicely together. My fussy cut ephemera is from the Dreamland Ephemera Pack. 

As I worked I also used some Rice paper from the Dreamland Rice Paper. 

My photo layers were from both collections paper pads as noted below in the materials list.

I've included the wreath chipboard from the Dreamland Chipboard 6x6 and painted them white for a frosty look. 

Here is a nice close-up of the Abstract Flowers Stencil highlighted with Indigo Chalk Mist. 

After tucking in various embellishments and epehemera, I did some focal highlighting with the Indigo Chalk mist. When that was dry, I adhered all my 3D balls (see links below.)

The burlap ribbon is from my stash but provided a nice texture to my piece. 

Here is a look at the splattering done as my last step. You can also see the random stamping done earlier in the process using the Wonderland Stamp and black archival ink. 

I think that's about it for today. 

I wanted my piece to be clean and fresh like fallen snow before anyone had walked in it.

Sometimes I make layouts for special orders and special occasions. This one is a part of wedding gift and photos with sunflowers and a happy couple were just perfect to use with "End of summer collection". Życzę wszystkiego najlepszego :) 

Czasami zdarza mi się wykonać pracę na zamówienie dla kogoś znajomego, zwykle jest to jakaś specjalna okazja. Dziś chciałabym Wam pokazać pracę, którą zrobiłam jako część prezentu ślubnego. Zdjęcia ze słonecznikami idealnie pasowały do kolekcji "End of Summer".

Uwielbiam kolekcję Dreamland za jej stonowane kolory, za cudowną zieleń i brąz, za uniwersalność. 

Dziś mam dla Was rozmarzony layout, a do elementów z kolekcji dołożyłam suszoną hortensję z ogrodu. Aby uniknąć wykruszenia się kwiatów po czasie, warto je dodatkowo zabezpieczyć płynnym medium akrylowym zmieszanym z wodą (przelanym do atomizera, lepiej spryskać niż malować delikatne kwiaty). Można też użyć werniksów w sprayu lub chociażby lakieru do włosów.  

I just adore Dreamland collection for its balanced colors, beautiful green and brown shades and its versatility.

Today I bring you dreamy layout. I added some dried hydrangea to the elements from the collection. To protect the flowers from crumbling, you can spray the flowers with acrylic medium mixed with water (put into spray bottle as it is better to spray than paint), use a varnish or even hairspray.

Italia - layout by Aida with Bella collection

 Dzień dobry, tegoroczne wakacje były inne niż wszystkie, ale cieszę się, że pomimo trudności udało nam się spędzić rodzinnie czas i zwiedzić co nieco pięknej Italii. Nie ma lepszej kolekcji do oprawy wspomnień z Włoch niż Bella :) Podoba mi się w niej też to, że łatwo można połączyć ją z innymi kolorami i dodatkami. Tutaj czerwone suszone kwiaty idealnie pasują do kolorów ze zdjęcia.

Good morning, holidays this year were totally different and all the plans have changed. But I am happy that in spite of everything we have managed to spend our family time and visit beautiful Italy. And there is no better collection to frame your Italian photos than Bella :) I love it also because it os easy to mix the papers with other colors and adornments. Here I have added red dried flowers to match my photo.

Hi there everyone 

My name is Farrel Tailor and I am from Perth in Western Australia. I have been scrapbooking for about 16 years but only started my love of mixed media about 4 years ago. I like to create different types of projects including art journaling, scrapbooking, altered art and only recently cards. I am super excited to be joining 13@rts guest design team for the next 3 months.

Here is my project, I used Summer Rhapsody and Rosalie collections for my layout. I love this photo of my grandmother and I on my wedding day 12 years ago. These collections were perfect for the photo. 

For my base patterned paper I used Summer Rhapsody - Memories. For the photo cluster I fussy cut out some flowers and butterflies from Summer Rhapsody Elements and also used a frame from Music is Everywhere pp

I used Poppies and Banners 6x6 stencil along with white modeling paste and used Ayeeda Mist - Pastel Pink on my chipboard butterfly. For the chipboard pieces, I used Unforgettable 12x12 chipboard sheet.

Keep dreaming - layout by Aida

Today I bring you a layout with brand new Dreamland collection. It is a very simple layout made mostly with fussy cut elements from paper set. I also used Abstract flowers stencil and watercolor paint. Let's keep dreaming :)

Witajcie, dziś chciałabym pokazać Wam layout z najnowszej kolekcji Dreamland. Jest on w sumie bardzo prosty, Warstwy to przede wszystkim wycięte elementy z kolekcji, użyłam także maski Abstract flowers i farby z zestawu akwareli. 

I just adore the color combination - bottle green and beige, I hope you like this palette too.

Uwielbiam połączenie butelkowej zieleni i beżu, mam nadzieję, że i Wam ten zestaw kolorystyczny przypadnie do gustu:)

Every time Aida releases her new DT collections, I get excited. It's hard to pick your favorites from the 4 most recent. Today I would like to show you two projects from two different collections. The first collection of my choice is Sunrise- great colors, elements and design. Perfect for framing holiday photos

Moja druga praca to LO wykonane z papierami i elementami z przepięknej kolekcji Bella . Ogromne pole do popisu aby oprawić zdjęcia z wakacji, nie tylko z pięknej Italii ale przyznaje ze wspomnienia właśnie stamtąd komponują się świetnie z papierami Belli . 

My second project is a LO made of papers and elements from the beautiful Bella collection. So many possibilities to frame photos from holidays, not only from beautiful Italy, but I must admit that the memories from there go well with Bella's papers.

Na moich pracach jeszcze tego nie zobaczycie ale w nowościach pojawiły się naklejki , art booki , ozdobne spinacze i badziki Pośpieszyłam się i zrobiłam kilka prac bez nich, ale trudno się powstrzymać mając takie piękne kolekcje w pracowni.

You won't see it on my layouts yet, but new release also includes stickers, art books, decorative paperclips and badges. I rushed and did a few works without them, but it's hard to resist having such beautiful collections in my studio.
