TUTORIAL/layout ''my girl'' by Sandra

Hi gang!!

let's play woth medium and cardstock for layout background! You just have to play add and add again some mediun and you can easy make your own background cardstock. 13arts has so many mediums that you can use, you can't miss something...

I made a video for you to show how I made it...you can copy my bakcground or just be inspired by....but please play with medium for your own satisfaction.

I realised that is my second layout called ''my girl'' sorry about that, but I have two girls and the 13arts titles are so easy to use ...

Remember the good things

Hi Friends!

I was born in May so at such times I run back a little over the last years. When I look at this picture I see in my eyes the determination what I missing now. In that time I felt good in my own skin and I need to remember myself. The weekdays are hard but it is worthy to see the good things.

At first came the ground coat the clear gesso and than I used stencils, stamps and rainbow colors to work up the background. I painted the chipboards with a vintage vivid paints.

The ordering is ready. The ornamentaly elements can come.

The cuts are also from Art Journey papercollection wich I cutted with Sizzix.

I really like the paper flower so I glued a lot of wonderful pieces of them

In the next step came the butterflies and flowers from Vintage Summer A4 paper,
Violete Glitter and 3D balls.

Next I applied Mica flakes.

More metall elements and pearls. Never enough!

The layout is ready.

"Memories" mixed media canvas by Christina

Hello!!!! This is Christina today with you and I admit that I am very excited with these spring colours , so I am playing againg with some pink and green tones on my mixed media canvas.

I was asked by a mom to scrap her daughter's photo , such a beautiful girl , don't you think?

So I was inspired by the pink flowers and the green backround of the photo , so I loved this colour combination.

I tried again one of my favourite techniques , it ' s about sticking some paper stripes on my canvas and use my colours and elements on them. As you can see , i couldn't resist using some gold touches and , of course , glitter!

Undernieth my photo , you can see some wooden elements and my title is some plastic word element

I used a lot of 13Arts papers and I had a lot of fussy cutting to use several colours of flowers. I have also used some 3D flowers and some chippies , too.

Blue Queen

Hi!

Did you see new colors of Color Glow?

I am in love with Emerald and Blue Saphire.

Today I want to show you small canvas I created .

Witam,

widzieliscie juz nowe colory Color Glow? Ja pokochalam Emerald i Blue Saphire. Mam dzis do pokazania nowy blejtramik.

Next time I will go for bigger size of canvas to have more space for playing with Coror Glow. Mixing paint and water creates very interisting effects.

Nastepnym razem zdecydowanie wybiore wiekszy rozmiar pracy aby miec pole do zabawy z kolorami Color Glow. Mieszanie kolorow i wody tworzy ciekawe rezultaty.

"Addicted to...." Lo by Christina

Hello!!!!!This is Christina here today and I would like to show you my addictions , my life!!!! If you know me at person , you would know that I have some addictions.... These are coffe....(Of course, coffee) , books and sweets....Ok I don't need sweets everyday but I sometimes need them to make my day!!!!

So.... my mixed media LO is about these favourite moments....Relaxing moments....

I used pink and yellow , wich are my favourite , relaxing colours ....On the backround I used the yellow transparent acrylic paint and modeling paste through two stencils.... I have also used the new pink watercolour to make some splashes in pink!

Today I have used some stamps , too. I like the black effect on my backround .... As you can see, I loved some white splashes , too....

i chose to use a wire , too , to give some extra interest on these great photos.... My chipboards were painted in yellow , pink and white.

Some extra glitter is necessary , too. I have put glitter on the modeling paste . You can see the details on these photos... And last but not least , under my photos there are several wood elements , some little branches painted with white gesso ...

I wanted you to feel my favourite moments through this mixed media page... I hope I managed to show you my feelings about them....

I love the Wind, Spring canvas by Agnieszka Bellaidea

Witam serdecznie i nico wiosennie, przynajmniej jesli chodzi o kolory.

Dzis chcialam Wam pokazac proste wykorzystanie foli z 13arts. Przyznaje ze sa wdzieczne w pracach ale niekoniecznie przy fotografowaniu :)

I have a new Spring style canvas to show you today and I would like to show off our transparent foils , they are very charming to work with, maybe not so much photogenic :)

Jak zwykle zaczelam od przygotowania podloza i pomalowania blejtramu gesso.

As usually I started from canvas preparation and painted it with white gesso.

Nastepnie wykorzystalam maski i paste modelujaca oraz naklejki.

Next I was using stencils , modeling paste and black stickers.

Folie przykleilam do blejtramu za pomoca washi tape. i zaczelam dekorowanie segmentu pracy .

I used washi tape to fasten foil by 13arts and started decorating part of canvas.

Kwiaty i motyl ladnie skomponowaly sie z designem z foli.

Flowers and butterfly blended in nicely with design from foil.

Mgielki, shiny powders , rainbow colors i UWAGA UWAGA COLOR GLOW dokonaly reszty.

Mists, shiny powders, rainbow colors and ATTENTION ATTENTION COLOR GLOW made the rest of the work.

Mysle ze Color Glow bardzo sie Wam spodobaja!

"Believe" mixed media canvas by Christina

Hello 13Arts fans!!!This is Christina with you today with a mixed media canvas again. This time with a photo from my first daughter..It;s a photo from our vacations in sunny Greece , at a beach and I love this very much... My canvas today is full of colours , like my first attempts in mixed media , when my pages were colourful... Well, I missed using them and today I wanted something like this. The "Art Journey " collection is perfect for creations fresh and colourful , so you should try it for sure.

Firstly I started by covering my canvas with clear gesso and by sticking some stripes of bookpages and papers from the collection.

Then , I painted with pink splash ink and turquise mist my papers and added some white gesso here and there!

Now , it was the time to add some modeling paste... Mixed media means texture for me , so the modeling paste is my favourite and the most necessary product... Of course I used one of the newest stencils from Maremi's collection.

After everything had dried , I added some foam letters... I have missed a lot these elements and I wanted to use them for extra texture. Look how they match with the backround!

The final step is to dacorate my page...I have used some 13Arts chipboards , some sisal in pink and white , pink ribbon and white lace and of course my favourite microspheres and plastic microspheres.
At the end I added some splashes from white gesso here and there...
