Victoriana - mixed media canvas and video presentation
Hi lovely people, today I have few new artworks to show you. I have created all of them with Victoriana collection and other 13 arts products. Additionally I made a video presentation for you. Green and blue love
Cześć wszystkim,
dziś postanowiłem Wam pokazać pracę, którą jakiś czas temu zacząłem, a która nie wyszła tak jak chciałem. Szkoda było ją wyrzucić, więc przeleżała trochę czasu na półce, aż w końcu trafiła na biurko po raz drugi.
Hello everyone,
today I decided to show you a project that I started some time ago and which didn't work out as I wanted. It was a shame to throw her away, so she lay there for some time on the shelf, until she finally hit the desk for the second time.
Wszystkie elementy, które nakleiłem oraz mikrokulki pokryłem warstwą białego gesso. Jako, że praca była wcześniej kolorowana z użyciem rainbow color duo w kolorze pistacjowej zieleni to całość nabrała lekko zielonego koloru. Postanowiłem więc utrzymać projekt w tej tonacji.
All the elements that I attached and the microspheres covered with a layer of white gesso. As the work was previously colored with the use of rainbow color duo in pistachio green, the whole thing took on a slightly green color. So I decided to keep the project in this tone.
Kilka miejsc wzbogaciłem o nieco mocniejsze barwy używając metalicznych farb Color Glow wymieszanych z płynnym medium akrylowym. Dodałem dwa kolory - emerald i tourmaline. Szczerze się przyznam, że wcześniej nie pomyślałbym nawet o takim połączeniu kolorystycznym.
I enriched a few places with slightly stronger colors using Color Glow metallic paints mixed with a liquid acrylic medium. I added two colors - emerald and tourmaline. I honestly admit that I wouldn't even think about such a color combination before.

Life is a Verb ~ Layout with Sandi Clarkson
Good morning, creative friends!
Sandi here with you today sharing my most recent layout for the 13 Arts blog.
That yellow damask-like paper is so gorgeous! I had planned to use that along with predominately teal. But as always with the creative process, I decided to add in some areas of purple along with the teal from the Watercolor set 16 pans - set of watercolors to pull out the purple in my granddaugher's shirt.
I also fussy cut some of the peach flowers from the In bloom Elements A4 sheet. So with the yellow, teal, purple and peach, I had to be very careful not to get a pastel Spring-y effect. I tried to accomplish that by using some more intense shades of the watercolors by not adding as much water. At that point it was lovely but I wanted "rust" to ground it. So, taking the easy way, I sprinkled some of my brown Rainbow Color Brown and then spritzed it with water. Some areas are still powdery but actually since I like texture, that is more than fine by me!
As usual, I first coated my papers with Clear Gesso, then added some Gesso white - acrylic primer 500 ml around my focal area. I did some random stamping with brown ink using the Avril stamp A7. Next I created some texture by pushing Modeling Paste through the Stencil masks HIS TIME. This is when I began doing my color work. What I really like about our modeling paste is that it stays a bright white unless you have already mixed it with color.
I finished with a few embellishments, some 3D balls, Ecru Sisal, rhinestones from my stash and then some splattering with my paint colors and Gesso white.

Good day crafting friends....
Today I am sharing a colorful canvas created for 13Arts as my July Design Team post. Drawing inspiration from the awesome colours of the Challenge of the month I kept to the Blues and Yellows. Hope you have entered already? There are still a few days left to do so....
I used the Swirl Stencil and Modeling paste to add a little detail to the corners. Also scrapped the palette knife clean on the opposite corners to get some texture there as well. I sprayed the canvas with the Yellow chalk Ink. The Dusty Attic frame was gesso'd and painted with the Vivid Yellow Paint and added to the canvas. After adding the flowers and pieces of the Twig I added more color with Yellow Lemon Rainbow Color.
I layered a wooden Wing set that was painted with Emerald Color Glow and Blue Metallic Paints with another frame, some yellow colored Gauze and a Resin Face. I colored the frame, face and resin swirls with Navy Blue Splash Ink. I just love how the ink reacts so differently when water is added. On the frame and swirls I left it concentrated whilst I sprayed some water and used a wet wipe on the face. It gives a softer, almost chalk-like finish. I also used the wipe to color the edges and corners of the canvas. Also added splashes with the Splash brush and Splash.
Some white roots, a few stars elements from the New Under the Stars A4 element Sheet and a little gold leafing and my canvas was done!

Remember the good things
Hi Friends!
I was born in May so at such times I run back a little over the last years. When I look at this picture I see in my eyes the determination what I missing now. In that time I felt good in my own skin and I need to remember myself. The weekdays are hard but it is worthy to see the good things.
At first came the ground coat the clear gesso and than I used stencils, stamps and rainbow colors to work up the background. I painted the chipboards with a vintage vivid paints.
The ordering is ready. The ornamentaly elements can come.
The cuts are also from Art Journey papercollection wich I cutted with Sizzix.
I really like the paper flower so I glued a lot of wonderful pieces of them
In the next step came the butterflies and flowers from Vintage Summer A4 paper,
Violete Glitter and 3D balls.

Next I applied Mica flakes.
More metall elements and pearls. Never enough!
The layout is ready.
