 Hello dear friends!

Hello everybody! The end of the year is approaching and with it a whole series of New Year and Christmas holidays. I think each of us is looking forward to when 2020 will finally end 😁

At the same time, I think we all hope that next year will be more friendly to us ☺️.I believe that will be the case! 

In the end, it is important to believe in this and move forward, forward, into the future with optimism.

That's why the motto of my first New Year's card this season is smile. A smile is a companion of faith and optimism. So let's meet the new year with a smile and hope that 2021 will bring us new goals, objectives, and opportunities :)

Today, with this card, I begin my winter holiday season. I hope it'll add you a New Year's mood 🙂

The size of my canvas is 30 * 30 cm, and there are many techniques used.

Today I decided to inspire you to be creative with my new project. 

I created a photo album inspired by the stunning Dreamland collection.

 My album is A5 format and includes 6 pages .

Stronger together

czasami są dni gdy mamy ochotę pobawić się twórczo. Tak było też i u mnie. Nic nie planując otworzyłem mój art journal, wziąłem kilka dodatków z nowej kolekcji "End of summer" i złapałem za ogniste kolory jesieni.

sometimes there are days when we want to play creatively. This was also the case with me. Without planning anything, I opened my art journal, took a few additions from the new "End of summer" collection and grabbed the fiery colors of fall.

Zacząłem, jak zwykle, od zagruntowania stron przezroczystym gesso. Na tym przykleiłem kilka paseczków papieru oraz kilka kawałków papieru ryżowego. Oczywiście jak tylko zacząłem szaleć z białym gesso i tuszami to stały się one mało widoczne, ale stworzyły ciekawą fakturę. :)

I started out as usual with priming the pages with a clear gesso. On this I glued a few strips of paper and a few pieces of rice paper. Of course, as soon as I started going crazy with white gesso and water inks, they became less visible, but created an interesting texture. :)

Zaraz po wyschnięciu tuszy dodałem kilka odbitek stemplowych.  Na tak przygotowanym tle zacząłem tworzyć kompozycję. Jako, że w journal'u wolę tworzyć bardziej płasko to użyłem tylko kilku elementów z zestawu ephemer, naklejek i tekturek.

As soon as the backround was dry, I added a few stamps. Against such a background, I started to create a composition. As I prefer to create flatter in journal, I used only a few elements from the ephemeras set, stickers and chipboards.

Today I am happy to present you my new project. 

I created a photo album inspired by the stunning End of summer collection.

I like to combine the full potential and beauty of paper and paints in my work.

 My album is A5 format and includes 6 pages .

 Cześć wszystkim,

gdy tylko dostałem w swoje ręce nowości to od razu wpadły mi w oko papiery z kolekcji "Dreamland". Wyglądają cudownie ze swoją naturalną kolorystyką. 

Hello everyone,

as soon as I got my hands on new products, I liked it right away papers from the "Dreamland" collection. They look wonderful with their natural colors.

Postanowiłem z tych papierów stworzyć dekorację na ścianę. Jako baza posłużyła mi stara ramka na zdjęcia w kolorze złota i z połyskiem. Pomalowałem ją więc białym gessem i przetarłem papierem ściernym uzyskując złote przetarcia na powierzchni.

I decided to use these papers to create a wall decoration. As a base, I used an old photo frame in gold and glossy. So I painted it with white gesso and rubbed with sandpaper, obtaining golden abrasions on the surface.

Tło wykonałem z jednego kawałka papieru, na którym przykleiłem kilka papierowych pasków. Pokryłem wszystko przezroczystym gesso i dodałem nieco koloru używając akwareli. Po wyschnięciu odbiłem stemple tuszem w kolorze brązowym i dorysowałem kilka czarnych linii.

 I made the background from a single piece of paper with a few strips of paper on it. I covered everything with clear gesso and added some color using the watercolor. After drying, I embossed the stamps with brown ink and drew a few black lines.

Na tak przygotowanym tle stworzyłem kompozycję z wyciętych elementów, kawałków sznurka, suszonych makówek i szyszek olchowych. Pięknie pasują do tej kolekcji kwiatki szola.

On the background prepared in this way, I created a composition of cut-out elements, pieces of string, dried poppies and alder cones. Shola flowers match this collection beautifully.
