Final project from Antonia Moreno

It's time for the final post from our talented Guest Designer Antonia Moreno
Antonia, we would like to thank you for being our Guest and for all your beautiful creations. We love them all!

Hi everyone! It is Antonia with you today to share with you my last project as Guest Designer for 13@rts. I hope that it inspires you all!

I was willing to work on a canvas during this term, so with some ideas in mind, I decided to get out of my comfort zone.

I recently acquired some metal gears and I was willing to use them on a project, so they are the focal point of this layout. The aim was to make them seen as if they were old, but avoiding the use of rusting products to do so. The rust effect was made using color sprays pastel green and old gold.

Of course, I firstly worked on the canvas background creating a pink brick surface thanks to a stencil, gesso, texture paste and color powders from 13@rts. I really love the Ruby color glow of the background!

The text is from Until dawn paper collection called All good things, and I think it is a very positive one.

I hope that you like it. If you want to see some more of my work, please do not hesitate to follow me on my Instagram account or Facebook account.

See you soon!
Antonia M.

Dreamer- a layout by Antonia Moreno

Witajcie!
Czas na kolejną piękną pracę od naszej Gościnnej Projektantki- Antonii Moreno z Hiszpanii!

Hello!
It's time for the second project from our talented Guest Deisnger- Antonia Moreno from Spain!

Hi everyone! It is Antonia with you today to share with you a new project I made for 13@rts. I hope that it inspires you all!

I guess that all scrappers have had some time the same problem: just when designing a project, a trouble arises and we have to be creative to solve it. This is what happened to me when working on this layout. An opened paint bottled drop down onto the material I was about to use, so I had to change the layout sketch and the idea I had for doing it.

The starting point was a beautiful photo of my friend Teresa, related to books and reading, and I wanted it to be the main focus point.

The background has been worked with 13@rts mediums and some texture paste over the Dandelions stencil, that also includes some text. In some of them I added glitter embossing powders. The paper called Madness is so beautiful that it highlights without adding to it any decoration.

Some of the dark lines around the layout are stickers from Alice in Candyland collection, and I really love how they show.

Afterwards, I also had to start adding volume and decorations. One of the products I like the most from 13@rts are the microspheres and XS microspheres together, as they fit any kind of project!

Do not forget to make some cutouts from the papers, they are great for any little space. I did mine for the leaves…

To finish the project, I added some splatters of red Rainbow color.

I hope that you like it. If you want to see a video of the layout, please do not hesitate to look at it on my Instagram account

See you soon!
Antonia M.

Our New Talented Designer- Antonia Moreno

Witajcie!
Czas poznać naszą nową Gościnną Projektantkę- Antonię Moreno z Hiszpanii!

Hello!
It's time to meet our new Guest Designer! - Antonia Moreno from Spain!

My name’s Antonia Moreno and I am from Madrid (Spain).
I’ve been passionate about scrapbooking for seven years now. It started as a light hobby, as the many I had before. But it has become my passion on my spare time. I love creating layouts, as they save our best memories, but also like to alter wooden boxes and making smaller projects as cards or tags. My style is a mixture of romantic and mixed media, adding lots of details to my projects.
As an expert on the Communications, Events and Marketing field on my professional side, I use my social media channels to share my knowledge and creations. Three years ago I created an annual non-profit event called ScrapLab in Madrid -the city where I live- to share this passion with other
scrappers.

***

Hi everyone! It is Antonia with you today to share with you my first project for 13@rts.

Since the very beginning that I saw Until Dawn collection, I knew I was going to create this layout. It was not so easy to find the perfect photo, which was found among my friend Teresa’s photo-book.

I also wanted to use the wonderful teal and blue mists colors from 13@rts. They mixed and match so well together! So I needed to work with white flowers and embellishments to let those colors highlight.

See the beautiful texture at the background? I used the dandelion stencil - so pretty, and added xs an micro spheres, which are perfect for adding light to the project.

Do not forget to make some cutouts from the papers, they are great for any little space.

To finish the project, I added some splatters of white acrylic paint, teal and blue mists.

Hope you like it. See you soon!

XO

Antonia M.
