Life is beautiful

Hello dear 13@rts friends

It's Anguree here with you and I am back on the blog today sharing this layout I created using a couple of products from our New Collections.

I am absolutely in love with the new emphemra pieces. Not only are the super fine, but gorgeous. As you can see I added different flowers around the photo and amongst my flower clusters.

To add texture and some Ecru roots and Powertex Balls.

Last but not least, I finished it off using 13@rts stickers.

"Creative Mind" A Little Embroidery Hoop By Fiona

Hello my beautiful 13 Arts friends. Today I am here sharing with you a little embroidery hoop I have decorated using some of 13 Arts gorgeous new products.

For all the years I have been scrapbooking you know I have NEVER embellished an embroidery hoop. I know! I have seen so many gorgeous ones online and always thought I'd love to give it a go and so now ... here it is. I think I'm addicted!

I used some patterned paper to cover the base of the hoop and then layered some gauze over the top to give it a shabby look. I also gave the gauze a bit of a tear and grunged it up and then layered some gesso over it to create a shabby chic look.

Layers and layers of fussy cut flowers and feathers made up the main area of the hoops focus point along with a wing that I molded from air dry clay.

I added a wire border and on the bottom layer you may be able to see a little chipboard wreath that I covered with gesso and added some watercolor too.

I love this little treasure. I definitely think I will be making more of these hoops!

Always and Forever

Hello dear 13arts friends

February is the month of love and 14th of February happens to be my wedding anniversary. This year we celebrated 15 years as a married couple. I therefore thought it be good to share this layout with you using more of my favourite 13arts products. The new collections are just so beautiful, it's too hard to choose your favourite 1 or two items, so I will add more to the list.

Products used:

I absolutely adore the new On the Wall Collection and these two sheets, Postcards and Roses in particular. They match perfectly and I love the soft Vintage kind of feel. I combined them by stencilling modelling paste across the tear tear line to make the transition soft and gentle.

Next I created a photo mat using beautiful Scrapiniec chipboard and Ecru roots. You will see the roots and texture makes a perfect bed to lay your flower clusters onto.

Next I stuck my little sticker words on a strip of the same paper and affixed them to my layout using double sided foam. I simply can't get enough of these. They make it so easy to add journaling or ideas to your layout. The best part is that they are transparent so you never need to worry whether they will fit in your colour scheme.

Last but not least I finished it off with our 3D balls, pearl embellishments and splatters of gesso.

Thank you so much for visiting us today. I hope you enjoyed your time here.

Till next time, have fun and enjoy your creating process.

With love
