The Happy Moment | Terhi Koskinen

Hello 13arts fan!

It's Terhi here with you today together with a layout about my favorite summer chore - lawn mowing. The smell of freshly cut grass and the way our garden looks afterwards... It's amazing. For someone else this might be hard and uncomfortable as vacuuming or cleaning windows, but I love chores like this and of course I need to capture these happy moments into my scrapbook albums.

As the photograph was green, I chose to combine green and blue toned papers form Mental Vacation collection and from Color Basic collection.

See the grit used around the picture - simple and fun way to bring the feeling of grass onto the layout. I just spread some gel medium to the places I wanted the grit to be, then carefully added the grit and shook the looses off.

Chipboard words from Starlight collection are painted. Easy and quick technique to make them fit to any page.

Enjoy Life with Jelissa

Good Friday 13@rts friends! How has your summer been so far?

Today I'm up on the blog with a cute little wall hanging which I altered with lots of 13@rts products. I was inspired by the pink and purple lupins I saw when I visited New Zealand during summer. A friend was telling me that one bunch of these costs a bomb in Europe, whereas these grow like weeds in the South Island! The meadows, riverbanks and roadsides would be bathed in beautiful pink and purple and needless to say, I came back with a hundred photos of the same thing.

Anyway, here is my project:

I first primed with a simple layer of white gesso. I then made a thick paste with it and lots of Magic Powder and scraped it over a stencil, giving my poppies a lot of texture. Then I misted and painted from the bottle with Pearl Pink and Chalk Lilac mists. This was finished off with some script stamping using Matt Paint in White, which gives a gorgeous embossed effect.

I primed this sweet flower chipboard as well and first painted a very thin layer of Raspberry matt paint. Then I scooped up some white sand grit with modeling paste and patted them down in the centre. Then it was layering more colors in Lavender matt paint and Vivid Violet paint. For the stalks, I used Green metallic paint and layered them thick in some places for a darker look.

Decorating the banner with some glass beads, silver microspheres and pink sand grit. Then adding on color with Pearl Pink and Pearl Violet mists, and also Chalk Lilac mist.

Another chipboard piece of a little bridge which I colored with Old Silver metallic paint. I also tucked in a little resist butterfly piece which I colored with Pearl Violet mist. There were also a couple of flowers in the background with I colored with Pearl Violet mist and as I let the color run with water, it separates into a gorgeous purple and teal.

Layout " FEEL FREE" + video by Maryse Jolin

Hello everyone !!

Today I come to share you a creation summery flavor. To create my background I have chosen the beautiful metallic paint and gesso. Obviously using my darlings tool lately, the spatula 13@rts. I love working with this small tool, it goes so well to drag the paintings on paper, I love the effect it produces as a result.

Aujourd'hui je viens vous partagez une création au saveur estival. Pour créer mon fond j'ai choisis les magnifiques peintures métalliques et le gesso. Évidemment en utilisant mon outil chouchous des derniers temps, la spatule 13@rts. J'adore travaillé avec ce petit outil, il va tellement bien pour faire glisser la peinture sur le papier, j'aime beaucoup l'effet que ça produit comme résultat.

A pink card from Marta Debicka

Hello!

Today I would like to show you my newest card. I like mixing different papers and collections, but this time I used only one sheet from Color Basic collection. It has two pink sides and both match together perfectly.

Dzisiaj chciałabym Wam pokazać swoją najnowszą kartkę. Na ogół lubię mieszać różne papiery i kolekcje, ale tym razem użyłam tylko jednego arkusza z kolekcji Color Basic. Obie strony są różowe i idealnie do siebie pasują.

To make my background more interesting, I made a pattern using a stencil, and distress my card with some gesso and soft, dry paintbrush.

By trochę rozbudować tło dodałam wzór nałożony przez maskę i postarzyłam kartkę dodając trochę gesso nakładanego suchym, miękkim pędzelkiem.

Have I told that I love 13arts' flowers? Did you know they are handmade?

Mówiłam Wam już, że uwielbiam 13artsowe kwiaty. Wiedzieliście, że są ręcznie robione?

Layouts from our GDs- Lydie Denis and Geraldine Pasinati

Hi everyone !!

This is Lydie Denis – Lilibleu, and I’m very happy to see you again with this new project. This time, I chose to work with the Mental Vacation collection.

The picture has been taken at Disneyland Paris, where my big boy posed in front of the Pirates of the Carribean bay !!

All the gearings are made in cardboard. To texture them, I mixed some ink with modelling past. Then I heated them a lot with my heat gun, before pressing the appearing bubbles with my fingers

I inked some white flowers so that they perfectly fit in my page

In order to give some texture to the background, I mixed modelling past with some glitter paint to give a light shining effect and I used the « tattered circles » stencil to put this mix.
