Always Follow your Dreams

Hello 13@rts friends....

Today I am sharing with you an Art Journal page that I created using different Mediums from 13@arts.

I first prepared my page with Ayeeda Clear Gesso to keep my inks from seeping into the paper. First I sprayed the background with Pastel Antique Cream Mist. Then I played with washi tapes, gauze colored with Pastel Dirty Pink and Light Turquoise Pearl Inks Mists and some lace. I also used the Inks and Matt Turquoise Paint on the background.

I colored the chipboards with the different inks and used some Silver Glitter on some of them. For added texture I also used Silver Holographic Glitter and Light Blue Grit that I easily adhered with the Acrylic Liquid Medium....

Salvaged

Hello dear 13@rts friends

I am back with you today sharing this layout I created using some of my favourite 13@rts products.

As you may have noticed our team was inspired by Easter this month and on this Good Friday I thought it fit to share a layout that reflects on the true meaning of Easter.

I covered my background paper in gel medium to allow me work with different wet mediums. The gel medium allows you play with the spray-inks and colour without fearing for disaster. You see, if you add too much or if the drips don't go where you need them, you can simply wipe it up with a wet wipe.

To add contrasts I mixed some Colour Glow Ruby with my mists to make it stand out more. For texture and contrast I added beautiful sticker doilies and Ecru Roots and medical gauze, spayed with Pastel Coral Mist.

Next I sprayed flowers from 49 And Market to suit the colour of my layout.

I decided to add a couple of metal embellishments, a fussy cut flower, and a couple of word stickers using double sided foam. Last but not least I added some mica flakes and Iridescent White Splash glitter.

Alterowany pędzel / Altered paintbrush

Cześć wszystkim,

od dawna chodziło za mną zrobienie alterowanego pędzla. Przyszedł w końcu ten czas gdy usiadłem przy biurku i po prostu go zrobiłem. Pierwszy plan zakładał rdzę i trybiki, a wyszło... jak zawsze w tym przypadku - zupełnie na odwrót.

I've been thinking about making altered paintbrush for a long time. The time finally came and I sat at the desk and just did it. The first plan assumed rust and cogs, and came out... as always in this case - quite the opposite.

Bazą została skrzyneczka po krewetkach z wklejonym wewnątrz blejtramem. Kompozycja powstała z tekturek, odcisków z foremek i z elementów metalowych. Prawie wszystko pokryłem białym gesso.

The base was a shrimp wooden box with a canvas inside. Main composition I've made with chipboards, imprints of molds and metal embellishments. I covered almost everything with white gesso.

Zdecydowałem się na jasne odcienie błękitu i szarości. Dzięki temu praca wygląda lekko i delikatnie. Wykończyłem projekt dodając nieco bieli by wydobyć detale niektórych elementów.

I decided on bright shades of blue and grey. Thanks to this project looks light and gentle. I finished the project by adding some white to get the details of some elements.
