Keep dreaming - layout by Aida

Today I bring you a layout with brand new Dreamland collection. It is a very simple layout made mostly with fussy cut elements from paper set. I also used Abstract flowers stencil and watercolor paint. Let's keep dreaming :)

I just adore the color combination - bottle green and beige, I hope you like this palette too.

Uwielbiam połączenie butelkowej zieleni i beżu, mam nadzieję, że i Wam ten zestaw kolorystyczny przypadnie do gustu:)

5 cards by Agnieszka Bellaidea

Hi!
It's Agnieszka Bellaidea today with several  cards. As you can see I used new and older collections.

My first card was made for a lovely friend of mine, she loves roses so I hope she will like it.

Second card with travel theme in mind was created with Travel the world collection.

Next 3 cards are result of taking mini vacations with little bag of 13arts supplies. I paint tiny pictures with watercolors  and add them later on to bigger sitze cards.

On my cat card I used

COLOR GLOW Emerald

The very last card can tell you something about missing beach.  It's also shows you how easy is to create very simple and still very personal cards.

Watercolors on the go by Agnieszka Bellaidea

Hi! it's Agnieszka Bellaidea today with ...hmm some colorful projects.
You may not like them so much, I still   have a long way to learn ...
But!
The joy I had playing with our watercolors it's priceless!

Couple years ago I had a nice walk in New York and came accross this sign.
I was thinking about when splashing and mixing colors all weekend long.
Let's not forget why we all have this hobby; scrapbooking, painting, altering.
It's for fun, it's for pleasure

While it's nor easy to travel with even 5% of our stuff  from scrap room taking small box of watercolors and couple of brushes for any vacation sounds just so easy. Small or huge luggage? You can take it anyway.

So I spent last weekend taking care of my inner child :) and believe me, it was a great weekend!

Just get a set /now we have a big one but any moment you can expect two mini sets in our shop ! / couple of brushes, good paper and have some Fun!

You can start from some simple design on cards.

Life is a Verb ~ Layout with Sandi Clarkson

Good morning, creative friends!
Sandi here with you today sharing my most recent layout for the 13 Arts blog.

I had been feeling inspired to work with the "B" side of Paper Birds and flowers paper, In Bloom
That yellow damask-like paper is so gorgeous! I had planned to use that along with predominately teal. But as always with the creative process, I decided to add in some areas of purple along with the teal from the Watercolor set 16 pans - set of watercolors to pull out the purple in my granddaugher's shirt.

I also fussy cut some of the peach flowers from the In bloom Elements A4 sheet. So with the yellow, teal, purple and peach, I had to be very careful not to get a pastel Spring-y effect. I tried to accomplish that by using some more intense shades of the watercolors by not adding as much water.  At that point it was lovely but I wanted "rust" to ground it. So, taking the easy way, I sprinkled some of my brown Rainbow Color Brown and then spritzed it with water. Some areas are still powdery but actually since I like texture, that is more than fine by me!

As usual, I first coated my papers with Clear Gesso, then added some Gesso white - acrylic primer 500 ml around my focal area. I did some random stamping with brown ink using the Avril stamp A7. Next I created some texture by pushing Modeling Paste through the Stencil masks HIS TIME. This is when I began doing my color work. What I really like about our modeling paste is that it stays a bright white unless you have already mixed it with color.

Then I began adding layers to my photo with the paper elements below. I am proudest of my fussy cut blooms because it's not my favorite thing to do when I'm in the midst of a project. That is what is nice about our ephemera packs! However, fussy cutting is fun when you are just relaxing and maybe watching TV, movie or a video.

I finished with a few embellishments, some 3D balls, Ecru Sisal, rhinestones from my stash and then some splattering with my paint colors and Gesso white.

I hope you like it!
