Inspiracje miesiąca - Inspirations of the month by Keren Tamir

Witajcie, 

dzisiaj Keren przygotowała dla nas dwie cudowne prace, z użyciem papierów i mediów 13 arts. Znajdziecie tu wiele wskazówek i trików jak je używać. Po prawej stronie macie narzędzie do tłumacznia jeśli ktoś zechce skorzystać, ale z pewnością dla większości wszystko będzie zrozumiałe:)

"I loved you since the first moment I saw you"

I made this layout with a picture of my daughter I took at the beach. I wanted to use blue hues to mimic the beautiful blue sky. I used 13 Arts Pear Sky Blue Ayeeda Mist for this purpose.

I used a chipboard frame around the photo. First I primed it with 13 Arts Gesso. Then I masked it with some 13 Arts Modeling Paste over a brick template. Once dry, I rubbed it with a wipe using the blue mist.

I combined both the brick paper from the "Frosted Life" collection and a textured brick layer using the modeling paste. Then I also inked and rubbed the blue mist with a wipe.

I covered this chipboard lamp post with some 13 Arts Gesso and then lightly inked it with blue chalk ink. finally I stamped it with a crackle stamp to make it look antique. I also stamped the background with the same stamp.

"Discover"

This layout was also made with the "Frosted Life" Collection. It is a picture of my daughter walking down the beach.

I used a chipboard frame around the picture. I covered it with 13 Arts Gesso which I first combined with 13 Arts Pink Ink to give it a pink hue.

I also used the brick mask in this layout with the modeling paste. Then I doodled around each brick with a black pen.

For the flower stems I used the pink gesso from the frame to mask them into the background. Then I used some of the 13 Arts pink and white stems to mimic the movement.

Plaese meet

Hi, my name is Yasmin. I'm a Norwegian girl, born in 1980. Mom to two awesome boys, Felix and Collin. I'm happily married to Kristian and together we live in a small mountain village in Kyrksæterøra, Norway with our Rottweiler, Penny.

All of the above is victim of my scrapbook obsession. I currently work for a scrapbook store in Norway, called Bikuben doing postings online.

I see myself as a fun girl with a good sense of humour and creativity. I started scrapbooking in August 2005. I came across this hobby totally by accident when I was at a friend’s house.

I've always loved to cut and paste pictures in albums and doing some type of scrapbooking on a low level.  But it was in 2005 when i really got into it. I'm what you call an all around scrapper. I do everything from cards, mini albums, altered projects and layouts.

I love scrapping pages with paints, mist and getting my hands messy. I don't think I have a definite style, I do everything from vintage, romantic to inky and painted projects.

I'm currently on design teams for a Norwegian designer called Poppy Design, a new American company called Art Anthology and a Swedish Company Called PaperCraft Scandinavia by Inkido.

Czyste szaleństwo

Witajcie!!!

Uwierzycie, że zrobiłam mediowe LO???

Ja sama w  to nie mogę uwierzyć :).

Nie ważne, że mgiełkami zapsikałam wszystko w promieniu metra, że ręce do tej pory szoruję, bo są wypaćkane tuszem, że blat mojego biurka jest teraz w białe łaty od gesso :) 

Najważniejsze, że podczas tworzenia mojej pracy bawiłam się tak dobrze jak przy żadnej innej do tej pory.

To jest magia mediowania. 

Totalny spontan i ciekawość co z tego wszystkiego wyjdzie, bo czasami niezamierzony efekt jest fajniejszy niż to co chciało się zrobić.

Także jeśli chcecie totalnie się wyluzować, łapcie za mgiełki, tusze, gessa, pasty strukturalne, gel medium itp cosie i do dzieła!!!!

W pracy użyłam następujące produkty:

Hi my name is Bente Fagerberg, I am Norwegian and I live in a small Swedish village.

I love to scrap and craft and also to spend time outside in my large unruly country garden.

I think I have scrapped for about six years now but have become more serious about it the last couple of years since I have been invited to different design teams. 

I spent quite a few years at University both in Norway and Sweden exploring the world of languages, economics, statistics and art. My very best years I spent as a stay at home mom to my three daughters who are now almost all grown up. We lived in Chile, Mexico and England during these years and got to learn and love a lot about these different countries. Since my children have grown up I no co-own a small business selling fashion accessories to shops and boutiques mostly in Sweden. I love the freedom it allows me.

I am lucky to be on several design teams; 

Les Papiers de Pandore, Papirdesign, Inkido, Paper Issues, Scrap for Help. 

And I am a PaperHaus Magazine contributor.
