Abstract textured canvas by Aida

I just felt the need to create something for my house (finally;), I wanted to have a canvas matching my hall. So I created textured, multilayered painting, using mostly palette knife techniques. The painting is already hanging on the wall. I love to experiment and try new techniques and I am very happy with the result, do you like it too? :) 
13 arts mediums are simply the best, they are thick, highly pigmented and not overpriced. You can mix paints with gel medium to increase density and improve the effect of impasto painting, but I just uede them as they are. Just many layers. 

Poczułam potrzebę stworzenia czegoś do domu (nareszcie mi się udało;). Wymarzyłam sobie obraz do przedpokoju na płótnie i muszę powiedzieć, że udało mi się stworzyć coś co pasuje i już zdobi ścianę w przeznaczonym miejscu. Obraz to wielowarstwowa kompozycja na płótnie, wykonany przed wszystkim za pomocą szpachelki.  Uwielbiam eksperymentować z mediami, próbować nowych technik, mam nadzieję, że rezultat i wam sie spodoba:) Farby 13 arts są po prostu doskonałe do takich technik, są gęste, mocno napigmentowane i nie za drogie. Można je też zmieszać z gel medium dla lepszego efektu techniki impasto, ale ja tu użyłam farb w oryginalnej formie.

Mannequin

Cześć wszystkim,

skończyłem projekt, który miałem w głowie już jakiś czas, a który powstawał już od kilku dni - manekin ubrany w kreację z zębatkami. Zdecydowałem się na efekt lekkiego zardzewienia z odrobiną koloru niebieskiego.


Hello everyone,

I finished project, which I had in my mind from long time and which I've made from few days - mannequin in dress with gear wheel. I decided make a little rusty effect with a little bit blue color.



Rdzę zrobiłem dzięki mieszance multipurpose medium, żwirku barwionego oraz mikrokulek w różnych rozmiarach. Dodałem nieco efektu metalu dzięki shiny powder, a całość wykończyłem farbami z serii Vivid vintage, które są idealne do tego typu prac.

The rusty effect I've made with mix of multipurpose medium, a grey grit and microspheres in different sizes. I added a little bit metallic effect with shiny powders and I finished all with Vivid vintage paints, which are perfect for this kind projects.



Kolor niebieski to użycie farby z serii metallic nałożonej pędzelkiem i rozprowadzonej poprzez spryskanie wodą.

The blue color is from metallic paint, which I added with brush and spayed with water.
