I'm going, but I do not say goodbye ))

Hi, it's Maria Potapovich (mellpellmell) here for you))

Today's LO completes my stay with the wonderful  13arts' team...

I made a very simple and "clean" LO, which (I think!) is very suitable for the decoration of a young girl photo  - she is the daughter of my friend.

There aren't many embelishments or colors... there are only peace and quiet.

I added a few drops of bright, leaving untouched light background.

I've used:

Papier "Good times"Papier "Found in the sky" - "Znalezione na niebie"Papier "Remember when" (flags)Mgiełka kredowa - Chalk Dark Brown

All the best and a lot of inspiration to you!
See you soon! ;)

"Time to smile" by Mellpellmell

Hi)
It's Maria Potapovich (mellpellmell) here for you!

Today I want to share a little card with you. Do you know: "today"  is the best day? And also today - is the good time to smile (I think so!)...

Of course I've made this card using a plenty of 13@rts' products...
First of all I've made a background for the card. Here you can find a little tuto about an easy stencil technique  "Stamp on a stancil relief" which I've used.

Then I only had to add some embellishments to finish "smile-card".

And here is the result:

As you see I've added the chipboard, colored with a brown mist, and some words)))

And of course there is my fav pen on this card))))

I have used:

 Have a creative day))

Interior artwork by Maria Potapovich (mellpellmell)

Do you love the interior artwork, as I do?

Sorry)))
Here is Maria Potapovich (mellpellmell) and one of my infatuation -  interior artwork (or interior painting).

Loft-style interiors are in vogue now - and I also really love them.
And you know, they require specific decorations.
Interior painting, such as the one which I want to share with you now, is most appropriate specifically for such interiors - not congested, a bit empty and with lots of air.

The paintings, which are made to order, we must write on the basis on which the customer wants - it's true.
But this picture was made for my own pleasure. So I let myself to use my favorite basis - a cardboard box (IKEA). (This is not advertising! hahah...)

The only disadvantage - I absolutely do not know how to photograph paintings larger than 30 * 30 cm))).
So you'll have to look at photos which only vaguely are show the truth about this picture (I apologize again...).

By this photo it is absolutely impossible (!) to understand how the picture looks (sorry again), but you can roughly estimate its size.

Do not pay attention to my totally displeased facial expression - I'm just upset that the picture does not fit entirely into the frame)))).

And now I want to show the picture little closer:

"I love collections and their title " by Maria Potapovich (mellpellmell)

Hi))

Today I (Maria Potapovich) am going to tell you what I love in the new papers collections - titles!

Probably you've noticed that sometimes  I use the collections' titles in my work.
I really like it!
I think it is beautiful and very impressive.
It turns out that there are no scraps of paper, because even the strip of paper that everyone cuts helps me to do my projects more beautiful!

"Perfect" LO

For example, in this LO I used the title in not very prominent place - just beside the photos.

I've used chipbord here, but it was not decorated in any way (I've made only one letter yellow-gold). Its color combines well with the color of craft paper and ink sprays, which are also used.

13 arts' products I've used:
Napisy TimelessPlastry miodu małe

"Today, tomorrow, always" notebook-holder.

Title in this project is the main and the only decoration.

I just added and fastened it with the brads.
But one title was enough to give the value to whole project!

There is only one YOU in this world by mellpellmell

Hi, it's Maria Potapovich (mellpellmell) with you today.

Today I'll show unusual for me work.
You will not see any mixed media style's signs here.
Are you surprised? ))))

This time I decided to make this project without paints, without modeling pastes and similar materials!

I took only 13@rts' paper, flowers and leaves - and... I got this  floral arrangement))

I made this central figure of this panel by  myself using my new mold)))

Please visit the 13arts on-line shop if you are interested in any of the products I have used...

The small triangular book - tuto by Maria Potapovich (mellpellmell)

Hi)) It's time to have fun with the 13@rts!
Here is the 13@rts' big fan, mellpellmell, today)))

And... we will make a small triangular book.
It can be the basis for a mini-album or a small artbook - as you want.
Let's start!

We need to take a strip of paper, which length is bigger 4 times than its width.
Fold the sheet of paper in an eight-panel accordion.

Take one folded corner and fold it so that it meets with gutter of the panel.
Repeat with the opposite side, creating a triangular shape.

Open the panel and turn the triangular folds so that they pushed forward on the opposite side.

Repeat this with the other panels. You will receive a folded triangle with angles of 45, 45 and 90 degrees.

Cut the two triangles of cardboard for the cover.

Freely apply modeling paste with a spatula.

Add dark spray on the surface, and when it dries, apply a contrasting color to the texture space.

Stick the cover to the triangular block using gel medium. Do not forget to glue between the cover and the "book" a small piece of ribbon!

Voilá - our base for the mini-album or a small art-book is ready!
Here are some photos:

I hope you like this idea))
I think it is very cute and comfortable in creating!

"Time" board (mixed-media, abstraction, 13@rts). From start to finish

Recently, I began to feel that in my house there are too many "inartistic" things.

So a few days ago a large cardboard box miraculously turned into an interior painting, and today came the turn of the cutting board))

It turned out, that sometimes it is enough just a little bit paint, paper and glue to make regular wooden cutting board started making a lot more fun than benefit)))

I want to share with you a video of how happened the board's transformation into the "wall art")))

Here is some photo:

As always, work with 13arts products - great fun! I hope you enjoyed the video. Thanks to everyone who looked through to the end)) no ... thank you all!
