It's time for another project from our talented Shilpa. Just look at this lovely artjournal page made with Strength in Numbers collection!

Amazing designs from Art Journey paper are inspiration for this journal page. I cut out hearts, circles, border designs and glue them on page

For the background I used clear gesso and chalk ink mists. On that I stenciled with black gesso. I have also done some doodling for more interest

Today I want to introduce you to some masters from Samara.

A lot of talented and bright people live in Samara.

All of us have different styles and everyone has their own flavor.

We talk to each other every day. Sometimes we meet together and we have a scrap-breakfast, after which we make something together.

Also we like to have photo sessions.

One of the photos from the last photo session, I've decided to make into a mini album.

I love, when the main element in the photoalbum is a photo. I love to see a happy, smiling face, so that's why I chose the most emotional photos for my album.

The materials from 13arts helped me with the decor.

For foundation I chose paper "Strength in numbers" collection.

Mixed Glitter Violet with modeling paste. With the help of the Maska-Stencil Vintage words, applied some on paper. 

Added in Chalk Yellow Lemon spray, glitter, stars.

And stickers gave meaning to the photo.

Hello Everyone, I am back with another mixed media project with 13Arts.

I've created Art Journal spread using Fiona's Strength in numbers and Aida's Art Journey collection

I have created different layers of texture on these pages.

Beautiful words from Art Journey collection stickers inspired me with this art journal spread.

I glued man's face and paintbrush sticker on opposite sides of pages. To create texture, I used 13Arts Modelling paste through Crackle stencil twice, using 2 designs from stencil, as I wanted both designs to match with pictures.

Further, Applied Clear gesso to whole surface and when it dried , started to build colors.

I spritzed Yellow and brown chalk inks. Dried the surface with heat tool. I stamped texture and text with black archival ink. I used Blue Green shiny powder mixed with clear gesso for my next layer.

Lastly I glued silver microsphere randomly on the design with gel medium.

I loved to play with 13Arts' Artistically designed papers and stickers... and their Chalk Inks,Shiny color, microsphere gave beautiful effect to the page.

"An Eventful Day" Art Journal Page by Fiona

Hello my 13@rts friends. Fiona here with you today to share an art journal page I have created in one of my favourite "old" art journal books.

This page was free from any thought .... I just chose half a dozen of my favourite coordinating 13Arts mediums and made some mess!!!

I enjoyed the layering ... I enjoyed squirting water on the page to see what it would do. It was so much fun.

I scraped and scribbles away until I thought "Hmmmmm best I stop now before I ruin it" That is pretty much the sum total of my process.

it is also one of my most favourite colour combinations to use. I just love yellow, red, pink and orange together. It makes my heart sing!

I live in Russia in Samara. I started scrapbooking in 2012, but the progress started in 2016.

Hello!

So this is my first project for 13arts!! It's so exciting and at the same time very interesting!!

Release date of my project, coincides with the holiday of Halloween, so without any hesitation I decided to dedicate my first project to this magical and mystical celebration!

Usually this holiday is associated with dark colors and a pumpkin....BUT, It came out bright and fun)

For my project I used paper from the collection "Strength in numbers", with 

Maska-Stencil ART BRUSH and Pasta modelująca created a small blot, Tusz akrylowy SPLASH! Black Glitter I covered the film, letters and a bit of paper

Tusz wodny - Black (Graphite) made a splash

I drew and cut out: hat, spiders and bats myself, a self-made cutting!

An Art Journal Page By Fiona

Hello 13Arts Friends. Fiona here with you today to share a little art journal page I have created using some of my favourite 13Arts products, including some of Marta's new stencils!

I am cray about jell plate printing at the moment ad so I used some of the 13Arts Acrylic paints and Marta's stencils to create some awesome patterned papers to inspire me with this art journal page.

I also used Aida's collection "Art Journey" for inspiration including her little tag that says "Today, Tomorrow, always ART" This is such a great mantra to live by ..... make art everyday!

From the A4 Paper elements I also combined one of the little sayings. "Create, Art, Love".

'Kind Hearted' by Lisa Griffith

Hello 13arts friends! 

Lisa here with a layout I created using Fiona's amazing collection, 

'Strength in Numbers'.

'Kind Hearted'

This collection is so fun and the colors so bright and playful, I wanted to make a happy,

pop-art looking page and step out of my usual look, using some fun photos from our

last family vacation. I used the gorgeous feather and title chipboards from the same collection,

and lots of Ayeeda paints and inks to add lots of splashes of color.

I love Fiona's style and my page is a bit of an 'homage' to her art.

Together - LO by Christina

Hello there 13Arts fans!!!! It;s Christina with you today and I'm super excited with my new LO with Fiona's collection "Strength in Numbers"... So unique and soft....So "abstract" , I loved every paper and embellishment of this really gorgeous collection!!

First of all I started with my backround...This time,  not so much texture...Only some colouring with the new acrylic paints in some beautiful colours...I added some stripes of paper too and some stripes of white gesso and modeling paste ... This paper is a beauty so I didn't want to hide it at all...

Then , I started the fussy cutting and decorating the page... I used a lot of the elements of the collection ,They are all so unique!!! I really loved the quote , so I added a my title on my LO ... "Alone , we can do so liitle... Together , we can do so much..." If you know me personally , you surely know that I try to keep a message in my pages ... Some useful message for everybody... I really loved this quote...

These feathers are my favourite, so I added some chipboard feathers , too... Feathers can give so much interest in a creation... The chipboard ones are not painted , but the paper feathers are painted in acrylic paints too... I like the transparent finish of these paints....

Handmade Journal by Fiona

Hello my lovely 13Arts friends. Fiona here with you today to share a little art journal that I made incorporating my "Strength in Numbers" collection. I am really enjoying my book making at the moment. I'm not sure what I'll put in this little one yet but it was so much fun to make.

I used an old book cover as the cover of the journal.

Then I sewed three signatures into the spine.

Each signature is made up of different pages, sizes and embellishments.

I also sewed on some extra tabs to help turn the pages with.

The process is very easy once you get every thing lined up. As long as you have a sewing machine and some patterned paper along with an old book you can make one.

I'm still not sure what I'll put into my book. I  have a heap of photos from my trip to Paris where I met Olga, Terhi and Marta. maybe I  can use this little book to create a memorable album of my trip.

I just love the way the papers sit against each other in each signature.

It's almost a shame to cover them with photos.
