'Forever' by Lisa Griffith

Hello 13 arts friends!

Have you seen yesterday's post about the 'Inktober' challenge here at 13arts?

I saw this theme in our Design Team group and immediately knew I wanted

to create something dark, fantastical and a bit macabre...like

Olga, I have a little taste for the strange and haunted too....

'Forever'

I started with a paper from the 'Aria' collection by Aida called 'Lyrics' and from there added

lots of mediums, paints and inks to my background. On top of that some different laces,

some feathers, and a 13 arts chipboard painted in Pearl Pigment 'Luster Black'.

I was just amazed at all the talented designers and guests work for this challenge,

so wickedly inspiring!

I really love working with these Pearl Pigment powders, what a beautiful shine!

They really look metallic and give a cool aged look when painted on.

'Kind Hearted' by Lisa Griffith

Hello 13arts friends!

Lisa here with a layout I created using Fiona's amazing collection,

'Strength in Numbers'.

'Kind Hearted'

This collection is so fun and the colors so bright and playful, I wanted to make a happy,

pop-art looking page and step out of my usual look, using some fun photos from our

last family vacation. I used the gorgeous feather and title chipboards from the same collection,

and lots of Ayeeda paints and inks to add lots of splashes of color.

I love Fiona's style and my page is a bit of an 'homage' to her art.

Witajcie! Czas na post produktowy. Dzisiaj zachęcamy Was do zabawy z foremkami i masą modelującą z naszego sklepiku!

Masa modelująca jest niedroga i bardzo wydajna, więc jedna paczka pozwala na stworzenia mnóstwa pięknych dekoracji. Na naszych półkach znajdziecie wiele ślicznych wzorów, których można używać na różne sposoby. Nasi Projektanci także je lubią! Spójrzcie jak wykorzystali je w swoich pracach!

Modelling material is cheap and very efficient, so one packet is enough to make many lovely decoration. We have so many lovely patterns and there are so many ways to use them in your project. Our Designers like them too! Look how they used them in their artworks!

Wyzwanie / Challenge #58 :

'Vintage Love'

Hello 13 arts friends! Welcome to our new challenge called 'Vintage Love'.

The inspiration behind the moodboard comes directly from Olga's latest 13 arts collection called 'Vintage Moments', filled with time-worn patterns with antique botanical touches.

If you know me at all, I usually like to create pages with a romantic, often vintage look to them, filled with lots of flowers and laces,

and this new collection fits that look perfectly! I took the soft greens from the papers, added some pink, and of course lots of romance!

I hope to see you join in this month, we always feature the top three works and a wonderful prize.

Witajcie w naszym nowym wyzwaniu zatytułowanym: "Vintage Love". Inspiracją do stworzenia moodboarda była ostatnia kolekcja 13arts' autorstwa Olgi - "Vintage Moments'. Kolekcja wypełniona jest postarzonymi papierami z akcentami botanicznymi, uzupełniona kwiatami i koronkami, więc doskonale pasuje! Wykorzystałam miękkie zielenie z papierów, dodałam troszkę różowego i oczywiście akcenty romantyczne!

Mam nadzieję, że dołączycie do nas w tym miesiącu. Jak zawsze wyłonimy 3 wyróżnienia i jedną świetną nagrodę!

Rules of the challenge # 58:

1. Create a mixed media project based on the theme of the challenge

2. Publish your project on your blog and add link directly to the post using Inlinkz tool at the right side bar.

3. Please add a link and info about our challenge, where your work is published.

4. You may submit as many entries as you like.

5. You can enter your project with a maximum of 2 other challenges and your work must be new, not published before our challenge has started.

6. The challenge ends on the 24th of September. Winners will be announced on the 28th of September.

7. You don't have to use 13@rts products in your project.

When the challenge ends, our Design Team will vote and pick the best project. It will be Awarded with shopping voucher for 13 arts store worth - 60 PLN with free international shipping. The winner will be invited to join us in one of our challenges as Guest Designers. Additionally we will feature a few works with biggest number of points.

Zasady wyzwania #58

1. Stwórz projekt mixed mediowy zgodny z tematem wyzwania.

2. Opublikuj pracę na swoim blogu i dodaj bezpośredni link do posta używając narzędzia Inklinkz, które znajdziesz w prawym pasku bocznym bloga.

3. Podlinkuj wyzwanie i informację o nim w tym samym blogowym poście.

4. Możesz zgłosić tyle prac ile masz ochotę.

5. Możesz połączyć nasze wyzwanie maksymalnie z dwoma innymi.

Twoja praca musi być nowa i niepublikowana przed ogłoszeniem wyzwania.

6. Wyzwanie kończy się 24 września. Zwycięzców ogłosimy 28 września.

7. Użycie produktów 13@rts nie jest wymagane.

Kiedy wyzwanie dobiegnie końca nasze Projektantki w drodze głosowania wyłonią najlepszy projekt. Hello dear 13@rts friends. I am incredibly honored and excited to share this vintage layout with you today.

I live in the beautiful top end of Australia and love to work with mix media. I mainly create layouts, cards, ATC cards but also love to do off the page projects. I love to try new techniques and experiment with different products. This also mean that my style can vary from greatly from one project to another.

I am incredibly honored to have been chosen as Australian Cardmaker of the year (2017) and serve on a number of different design teams. Through the years I have been fortunate to be published in various magazines including Australian Simply Cards, Scrapbooking Memories and Creative Papercraft Magazine.

I craft because it makes me happy. I love to share this passion with others and hope that it will encourage them to play along and find the same kind of happiness. To me it's all about sharing the little things that makes life a happier place.

Vintage Moments

Hej kochani ! Dziś zespól 13 arts pracował na moim najnowszym, papierowym dziecku kolekcji Vintage Moments. Nazwa w sumie mówi o niej wszystko . Kocham vintage, steampunk grunge i industrial, ale uwielbiam tez kwiaty i to właśnie jest esencja tej kolekcji . Papiery uzupełniają naklejki - uniwersalne proste pasujące i do bardziej nowoczesnych i bardziej starociowych prac. Mamy też maski z których moja ulubiona jest kontynuacja naszego bestsellera z poprzedniej kolekcji . Kolekcja jest idealna dla wszystkich wielbicieli postarzeń i klimatów vintage.

Hey Guys ! So today whole team was working with my latest baby - Vintage Moments Collection. Name tells you all - it's all about vintage. I love vintage and grunge and steampunk junk and Industrial, but I also love flowers and that's the essential of this collection. Papers are followed by stickers - very versatile and simple this time. We have also stencils and one of them is in the same theme as your favorite from His and Hers. Whole collection will be perfect for everyone who like distressed effects.

W mojej pracy chciałam pokazać trochę bardziej nowoczesne podejscie do tej kolekcji . Wykorzystałam papier Rose Garden oraz maski z kolekcji, Użyłam tez fenomenalnej maski zaprojektowanej przez Fionę.

Przez maski nałożyłam farbę akrylową. Z palety kolorów domieszałam sobie idealnie taki odcień jaki jest na papierze .

I wanted to show with this Layout a little bit different point of view on this collection. I use it to frame my sons Halloween photo . I use mostly Rose Garden paper and stencils. One of them is from Fiona's collection. I used them with acrylic paints - I mixed my own color perfectly matching my paper .

First I added some white gesso, then I made some texture with Olga's new stencil, also from "Vintage moments" collection. I also added some stamping and colors to frame one of my most beautiful memories from Bondi Beach. "
