Dream, Create, Imagine...

Hello everybody,

 It's alby here and today i have a brand new layout for you! 

I'm in a period of love with the pastel colors and i wated to try them in a layout...and what better occasion than my inspiration post for 13@arts?

I've started with a layer of clear gesso on a 13arts paper...then i added some ayeeda paint in different colors...even mixed together!

After that i made my composition with my papers and flowers..

After that i added some more colors on top of the flowers, mixing together light blue and liliac that looks absolutely incredible together !

some die cuts, some paper butterflies, different embellishments from thrift shop and here it is!

I loved this vintgae photo, unfortunatly when i get back from photographer i noticed that it wasn't in a good quality...BUUUUUT i used it anyway, 'cause i'm in love with this little girl!

I love the result, i love this color combo and i think i'll use it more, more and more... it looks magical, bright and soft and the same time!

Salmon Layout by Alberto!

Hello everyone, 

I'm Alberto and today is my turn to show you a little something to inspire you. I've finally made a layout and sometimes it gets hard for me to make layouts because often i'm not happy with the result, but hey! I've started a new color combo and the result is pretty good!

I started with a thin layer of white gesso on a 13@rts paper designed by Aida, then i cut different papers in different shapes and put them together in the center of the layout.

then i have made a flowers composition, using different size and colors of flowers, leaves and butterflies.

Some of the flowers are from 13@rts and they look amazing because they have so many layers in different materials!

A vintage photo in the center, as focal point of the layout.

Altered Vintage Frame by Alberto

Hello ladies and Gents,

It's Alberto here and today it's my turn to show you something to inspire you. 

As you noticed from my latest post on the 13@rts blog i'm so into altered art. Today i want to show how i altered this vintage frame i found in a vintage shop in my hometown.

I started covering it all with white gesso as base for everything, then i decided to make it look a bit rusty so i painted it with Ayeeda paints in different colors.

i'm quite sorry for the photos but sometimes it's hard to make pretty photos of an altered object....especially with awful weather outside!

Then i added a bit of black gesso here and there to increase the "rusty effect". 

The i put some metal embellishments, chipboards and flowers here and there :)

Magic Bottle by Alberto Gava

Hello ladies and gents! 

it's Alberto here and today i'm very happy to show you my latest project!

I found this bottle in a dollar shop and i've decided to alter it! you know, with 13arts products it's very easy to alter objects in any style. 

i started painting it with white gesso, then i added different colors of acrylic paints, from blue to green...and i quite love how it turned out, because it looks so magical!

I added different kind of embellishments, metal keys, paper flowers, metal frames and some resin frames with some vintage photo inside...to be honest just the eyes portion! :)

this bottle may looks big but it's just something like 12 cm tall so, quite little tiny bottle :)

Steampunk Canvas by Alberto Gava

Hello Everyone,

Today i have something special to show you today. This weekend there was the National scrapbooking Meeting in Italy with all the people around the country in one hotel making Canvasses, Layouts, Cards and minialbum together. 

Maybe you heard something about it because last year i was one of the teachers and Olga H. was invited there as International teacher...exciting uh?

This year there was a lot of beautiful people, lot of great teacher and one of my favourite friends...ever!

So i thought to make her something special for her...and here it is:

I have started covering the canvas with one of the new amazing 13@rts papers, then i have applied white gesso. I decided that steampunk style was pretty perfect for this canvas so i glued some metal embellishments here and there. 

But if you know me you know that i cannot make something without flowers so i found these amazing gold-fabric flowers that matched perfectly with the style.

...a little detail:

I have used pearl mists, gesso black and white, metallic paints (old gold, dark yellow) and splashes (black, white, gold)

i have made a special layout for my boyfriend's birthday and he loves steampunk so... Perfect theme to try the new 13@rts products!

here is what i've made:

I have started making a background with white gesso, then i have applied embellishments as the new 13@rts flowers and chipboards.

then a lot of mists (especially used yellow amber and turquoise)  and some splash inks white and black!

are you ready?

Today i want to show you my latest layout! it's a dark pink layout with a sad clown on the center! I loved playing with dark pink even if i'm not a pink-fan because ayeeda sprays are really amazing with great color shades !

Here it is 

I used a bicycle piece that looks like a gear some keys and a lot lot of metal embellishments! 

gesso, of course my dear SPLASH! colors and here we are!
