Gwieździsty Layout - Star Layout

Witam Was cieplutko. Chciałabym pokazać Wam dzisiaj powstały bardzo spontanicznie layout. Został wykonany podczas sezonowego przeglądu skrawków papieru. Po prowadzonych w grudniu warsztatach pozostało mi sporo wyciętych gwiazdek, którymi postanowiłam udekorować bazę z papieru Słodko-gorzka miłość. Poza tym sięgałam po prostu po kolejne kawałki papierów 13 arts i układałam w warstwową kompozycję. Jako dodatkowe ozdoby występują tu jedynie obszycia maszynowe, dwa guziczki oraz moje najnowsze odkrycie, czyli washi tape. Praca była gotowa w praktycznie kilka minut, a zapas ścinków uszczuplony. Przy okazji dowiedziałam się o rosnącym młodym talencie - mój niespełna trzyletni synek podglądając zmagania mamy, zaczął doklejać na kawałku papieru, przy pomocy kosteczek 3D, znalezione na podłodze elementy. Moja jedyna ingerencja polegała na przycięciu widocznego u dołu kartki różowego paska, tak by nie wystawał poza obręb kartki, bo chyba tak można nazwać projekt Tymka? Zadecydował, że kartkę wręczy tacie, a szkoda, bo chętnie sama otrzymałabym takie dziecięce dzieło :) Za zgodą synka, zamieszczam zdjęcie jego pracy :)

Hi, my name is Kristie Taylor and I am so excited to design for 13Arts!! My hubby and three of our four kids live in the U.S. in the beautiful state of South Carolina. My family is very supportive of my artistic endeavors and are usually the feature of most of my work. 

I have played with crafty things most of my life, but discovered the paper arts about 13 years ago. I love mixing mixed media and scrap booking to get gorgeous textured pages and projects. I had a great time playing with the Ayeeda Mists and inks, these make creating gorgeous colorful background easy and fun.The Ayeeda Medium is a super smooth moldeling paste that dries with soft edges for great texture! And dont forget to add the 13arts flowers for the perfect touch.

Witajcie!

Na dzisiaj przygotowałam na bazie papieru z nowej kolekcji Faces of Spring, a dokładnie "Wiatr we włosach", layout z moją siostrzenicą. Papier idealnie dopasował się do moich potrzeb - troszkę go urozmaiciłam stemplami, zaciekami oliwkowym tuszem oraz fakturą uzyskaną dzięki żelowemu medium. Tag z papieru "Za głosem serca" dopasowałam kolorystycznie do całości oliwkową mgiełką - podobnie jak listki i "serwetkowe" elementy. Kwiatki zostały spryskane brązową mgiełką, dzięki czemu pięknie się błyszczą :)

Witajcie :)

Z okazji zbliżającego się Dnia Matki dla swojej mamy zrobiłam albumik z jej zdjęciami z czasów młodości. Kolekcja "Faces of spring" okazała się być idealną do jego wykonania. Znajdziecie w niej dużą ilość kobiecych naklejek i napisów, część z nich wykorzystałam w tym właśnie albumie.

Bazą albumu są bazy kartkowe, a w kopercie schowane są zdjęcia z tej samej sesji, których nie wykorzystałam w albumie. Całość spięta jest, a właściwie związana sznurkami, do których przyczepiłam m.in. urocze piórka dostępne w zestawie dodatków idealnie pasujących do kolekcji.

May Inspiration with Kelly

Hello, everyone! Kelly here today to share a couple of layouts I created...

Pure Happiness

This layout was created for this month's challenge - using the sketch, a stencil, and pinwheels. I started with the Bittersweet paper from the All Is Love collection, because the beautiful pink went so well with my photos. I used a stencil on my background, first using the Ayeeda Modeling Paste, let that dry, then misted with the Violet Pearl mist, using the same stencil. After that was dry, I went back and did more masking with the Ayeeda Gesso.

 I built up my layers, starting with some pieces cut from the Frosted Life papers. I followed the sketch, but used two photos instead of three. I built up my flowers clusters, cutting pieces from the Love Letters paper, and created two hand made pinwheels to go along with the challenge.

As an afterthought, I cut the bricks from the Big Love paper, and tucked them  in around my photos. I brushed them with gesso, some of the Violet Water Based Ink, and a sky blue color that I created by mixing the gesso, Pearl Sky Blue, and Pearl Green mists. I just mixed the three together until I got the perfect color to coordinate with my page.

Life Is So Beautiful

This layout was created using the Frosted Life collection, along with many of the 13 arts Media. The background was created using torn strips of paper, tulle/mesh which was adhered using the Gel Medium, and then the Ayeeda Gesso which was applied randomly by a palette knife. I used a bit of the Modeling Paste through a stencil, as well. I used a few colors of mists and the water based inks, as well, for the background and also to color the flowers and chipboard.

Hello, today Keren Tamir shows us her stunning May projects:

"Love - inspirational canvas"

I created this canvas as a gift for a very special friend, who's taught me a lot this year and I thought what better way to thank her than to create something special from my heart. I found a very special quote that really resonated with the theme of the canvas.

To create the background, I glued some mesh onto the canvas. Then I used some pieces of 13 Arts papers and adhered them to the canvas using 13 Arts Gel Medium. 

I used lots of 2 Crafty chipboard shrubs: Set 1 and Set 2 which I first primed with 13 Arts gesso and then embossed with clear embossing powder. Finally I used a combination of gesso and 13 Arts Pearl Blue Sky ink to dab light blue over the leaves.

The picture above has a combination of two chipboard pieces: the Branch with Bird and the hanging sign from the Garden Bench set. I also used the bench from the Garden Bench set in the picture below.

 

I added this cute little deer from the Prima Shabby Chic collection by Ingvild Bolme and some flowers from both Prima and Petaloo to match the 13 Arts papers.

My Second Project is a layout called:

"Wish"

As you can see, its a picture of my daughter holding Tinkerbell in her hand. I tried to create a magical garden around her using flowers, vines and fairies.

Since this 13 Arts paper resembles bark, I rolled the paper all along the picture as if the wood was peeling off. Then I decorated with lots of flowers from 13 Arts and Petaloo

For the 2 Crafty Twinkling Fairies, I primed them with gesso and then using 13 Arts Gel medium I glued some micro-beads on them.

In the above picture you can see the other fairy and behind it, a little 13 Arts resin cherub. You can also see one of the 2 Crafty shrubs above the cherub. These shrubs were also covered in gel medium and micro-beads.

Finally for the Wish title I simply covered it in 13 Arts Gesso and then colored it with lots of different shades of Chalk ink. The 13 Arts gesso gives the chipboard a very smooth finish which is perfect when applying other mediums.
