An amazing treasure by Melenia
Hello, ladies!
I hope you had a great day on Christmas, filled with joy and bright moments with your loved ones!
I also wish that the New Year that's already very close to us brings you all the best and most importantly, health and joy!
I would like to share with you a layout today. I haven't created on this theme for a very loooooong time - my children have grown out of this wonderful age!
Oh yes, the theme of my page is the amazing treasure a baby is!
Those of you who actually have a baby (or two or three) in their lives, I think, will agree with my statement. Babies are a treasure in our lives (ok, and bringers of lots of fatigue and sleepless nights)!
The lovely soft, pastel tones of the Color Basics Collections didn't allow me to even take a look of other collections. So I picked the light pink side of the "Raspberry" paper.

The mask I used (Kasia Crzyminska's Letters) was stamped and painted with the Ayeeda Pastel Cinnamon, Pink & Pearl Gold Mists (it seems I use the Pearl Gold Mist all the time, I just can't do without it - lol). Needless to say that the medium I applied with my mask is Ayeeda Modelling Paste.

I also painted my 2 Crafty Chipboard stars first with gesso and then with Silver Glitter,
to make them shine and stand out!

I glued all my embellishments with Ayeeda Gel Medium and Magic Glue with a precision tip (amazingly practical!). I also added a few dropplets of Ayeeda Pastel Black Mist, for contrast.

A Family Canvas by our GD Anna Sigga
Today, our great Guest Designer - Anna Sigga has something for you: a beautiful canvas and a mini-tutorial!

The 13 Arts products are just perfect for all kinds of mixed media fun and I had so much fun creating this canvas piece.

I
covered the canvas using Gesso, Modeling paste and the Winter Flowers
stencil to add a bit of texture and mists to add lots of color.
Then I placed a gold doily in the center and on top of that I used one of the stickers from the Cosy Evening collection.
The
Gold Glitter paint adds so much to this piece and I think this my new
fave paint! :) Then I placed several paper flowers to frame the
sentiment.

Wedding Canvas with Jelissa
Good Saturday friends!
Hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas holiday!
Mine was full of eating and drinking and laughter, and I think I might have over-eaten a little....
Today I'm back in on the 13@rts blog to share a wedding canvas I made for an ex-colleague who married the man of her dreams. I've used the Wedding Day Kit from the 13@rts store and it's filled with soft pastel shades of pink, grey and green.
Some close-ups:
One of the sheets from the kit was filled with lovely quotes and I used it as the sentiment of the canvas.
Underneath all the paper layers (all from kit), I used the lace that came in the embellishment pack and layered it over my background of masked acrylic modeling paste and some misting with the Pink Pastel Mist (kit) and Antique Cream Mist (own).
These gorgeous flowers, beaded stamens and pearl string are found in the kit and they add the perfect romantic touch to the canvas with the soft tulle texture and colors.

At
first I created my background applying gesso on the right and on the left side of my paper. Then i added some texture with modelling paste and a stencil i used, so that i could create tree on the pattern paper. At last I sprayed on different spots of the page using 2 mists.
I
painted all the chipboards (snowflake frame & snowflake) with the
same mists and i began to build my page using my favorite embellisements
such as a doily,flowers, a lace...
To add some sparkle on my project i also added some gold microspheres, glitter strips and some paint glitter.
