Hello everyone!

Today I have for you a little mixed media picture.

I had a lot of fun making this piece. 13arts paints are fantastic! Great texture and colours. You can use them in different ways. Today the simplest one - I used my finger to applied the paints.

I used a piece of cupboard for a base, cut circles from recycled paper and newspaper.

On the base I applied gesso.

When gesso dried I sprayed some mists and applied paints.

I glued glass filler using gel medium.

 I am so blessed and honoured to be  Guest Designing for 13Arts.

its indeed a dream come true for me.

I am Nupur Patel, 22yrs old from Mumbai, India. I live with my loving and caring parents and my sweet little sister. I have been crafting since my early schooling years, I developed the liking and love for art and craft after having introduced to Visual arts at Ecole Mondiale World School. Playing with various colours, medias, elements and explorations opened new doors for me and lead to a new world. After having learnt and explored the handwork it was high time that I step into Digital World and explore what more could be done to enhance my creativity and this let to a Graphic Design career. 

As I truly think a blend of both the handwork and digital could do wonders.

Now as a Graphic Design graduate from Raffles Design International I have started scrapbooking to unleash my creativity. As a visual artist here you will find me playing with various medias and my work filled with colors as they play one of the most important roles in my life.

Traveling, Capturing and Trapping memories are my inspirations to Enter the World of Scrapbooking.  Scrapbooking is a very huge World in itself, there is a lot more to learn, to explore,

Here I am revealing the 13 arts - Guest Design creations:

"PRECIOUS"

I just loved and enjoyed creating this piece, all thanks to the absolutely wonderful 13arts products, that are so fun to work with and give the most beautiful outcomes! 

It was such a pleasure to guest design for 13arts! 

 I created this mixed media keeping my little sister in mind *Here comes a gush of sisterly love* ;)

 Ayeeda's modelling paste works like magic! 

It has helped me create exactly the kind of  textures I wanted! 

Below you can see a close up of the wonders Ayeeda's modelling paste can make! 

And Oh! the lovely Ayeeda's mists in the most gorgeous colours made me fall in love with them! I am very happy with how the piece turned out! 

The caviar beads ooze delight. 

I have used tons of fantastic 13arts products such as the gorgeous flowers! 

They look like they have been made to bloom happiness!

I could not have been happier with the way 13arts products have allowed me to express my thoughts onto canvas with so much ease with the most stunning outcomes in every individual piece of the canvas.

"SHE"

The products from 13arts are like a breath of fresh air in spring time! 

"Faces of Spring" is absolutely delightful to work with. For this layout I was inspired by the vital role of women in society. From the daughter to a mother.

 The lovely Ayeeda's mists and paints have worked wonders along with  the fabulous Ayeeda's Acrylic Modelling paste with this layout Paper "Only for Girls" - "Just for Girls from "Faces of Spring"collection complimenting the entire look of the layout. 

The fantastic 13arts chipboards have slid into place 

The gorgeous flowers are so lovely and delicate that they are perfect for any layout!

They really have beautified the layout looking fresh and totally gorgeous! 

I am really happy with how the layout has turned out and it was thanks to all of the amazing 13arts products!

Winter Tag and Tutorial

Witajcie. Przygotowałam ostatnio mroźny tag i chciałabym podzielić się z Wami prostym sposobem na uzyskanie ciekawego tła. Ponieważ nie posiadam zbyt wielu masek, z których mogłabym korzystać przy tworzeniu struktury za pomocą pasty modelującej, zdecydowałam sięgnąć po coś, czego uzbierałam nawet sporo, czyli szablony do embossingu.

Hello. I've recently made this frosty tag and would like to share with you a tutorial on how to create background. As I don't have too many masks I could use while making a structure with modeling paste, I decided to use embossing folders.

1. Przygotuj pastę modelującą 13 arts, szablon do embossingu oraz papier. 

Prepare 13 arts Modeling Paste, embossing folder and some paper.

2. Nałóż dość grubą warstwę pasty na papier, postaraj się wygładzić ją jak najlepiej, a następnie pozwól chwilę podeschnąć. / Apply a thick layer of paste onto the paper, smooth it and let dry for a while.

3. Otwórz szablon do embossingu, a następnie delikatnie przyciśnij jego jedną część powyżej załamania do posmarowanego pastą strukturalną papieru.  Open the folder and press one half of the folder onto the paper.

4. Poniżej przedstawiam przykładowe tła uzyskane za pomocą dwóch różnych folderów do wytłaczania. Efekt jest bardziej bałaganiarski niż w przypadku tradycyjnego wykorzystania szablonów, ale najważniejsze w tej technice jest to, że możemy ją wykorzystać na dużych formatach, czyli tam, gdzie papier nie przejdzie przez maszynkę. Przygotowując np. LO, wystarczy posmarować pastą modelującą wybrane miejsca projektu, odcisnąć wzór z szablonu i struktura gotowa. / Below you can see examples of background prepared with two different folders. The effect is messier than when using the folders in traditional way. But the most important about this technique is you can use even if your paper doesn't fit into the folder and cutting machine. If you are preparing a layout just apply some paste to chosen fragments of your project, press the folder onto the modeling paste and the structure pattern is ready.

"Under The Harbour Bridge"

So I live in the beautiful city of Sydney, and one of our most famous icons is the Harbour Bridge. I live about 15 minutes away from it but it is all the way over the other side of the city for me , which means crossing over it every time we want to get there. This part where the picture above is taken is at Milsons Point, right next to the famous Luna Park and it is just one of my most favourite spots. If you look at the picture closely, you can see on the left hand side the Sydney Opera House :) It is an amazing spot .

Christmas are coming so soon and it's the last moment to make some christmas tree decors. I've prepared for you a short tutorial how to make that paper star :)
