Experimenting with linocut prints by Magda Polakow

Hello!

For a last few days I have been a huge fan of linocut printing! 

I couldn't resist and needed to try and print my linocuts on a mixed media background.

And it worked!

I prepared my mixed media background using masking tape, paper, white gesso, black gesso and paint.

When everything was dry I printed from my lino block using special ink for printing ( ink is thicker than drawing ink or other inks which we use in our scrapbooking projects.

I'm really pleased.
